Trump is upset about this ominous event, he knows this is a battle that will be fought through will. Holding another rally, he brings one of the husks to the stage. Trump grants the husk a soul and the husk becomes a normal man. However, this man will follow Trump's every word as his soul still belongs to Trump. It seems Trump can now enforce souls on those lacking a soul. The people witness the entire miracle and begin to see Trump as a giver of life.

E. Improve Mine (chance of discovering legend)
Anyone got the catalog of this civ?

was this an accident or intentional edge
>>44698346
Just remind players that 'oh so edgy' works both ways and make it happen. It's not like word's not going to get around somehow. They'll be like 'WTF DM' the first time one of them gets captured and taken apart and turned into human wreckage. Just remind them that hey, this is how they wanted to play the game.
>>44698645
It was intentional. The guy plans to give this woman a "new life" in the village they are from.
He is not understanding that people barely survive as it is, no one is going to want to care for this bandit girl and she is going to be nothing but a burden even if she does survive.
Nobody wants to clean up after her or push her around in a wheelchair and she cannot farm or do labor so she'll basically be a burden that will be left to die at the earliest opportunity.

>You are a young man named Lloyd from the frozen Northern mountains of Tordo, on the continent of Teege. After a youth spent learning magic, you and your girlfriend spent some time as bandits after your home was destroyed, but have recently taken a chance to escape that life into a legit one... As sellswords, admittedly, but it's better than nothing. When the situation calls for it, however, you might take on the POV of a character somewhere else for a thread.

You write to Yulea before your group heads out to the Outrealm Gate, admittedly avoiding mention of Ansi for security reasons. You've never HEARD of Neir snooping into the correspondence that travels between its borders, at least not as policy, but considering the intrigue-laden circumstances, it does you well to be careful.
You also send warning that your enemies are now using redundant layers of mind control, so if they have any magic users, make certain they know to look extra thoroughly on incapacitated foes.
Irene suggests you start using Eyven as a messenger,...

"So, eh, yeah, then Welles and Lady Yvette calmed your buddies down," Eyven explains in a tired manner, still grinning nonchalantly. "And the stuff about Calof and the cat led Shea to bring 'em straight to the Ulir archipelago."
"You'd think they'd go to Tarvos Valley, since it's... Right there."
"Not much of a tactician these days, so, eh, I can't tell you much about her logic. Besides, all this traveling's really tiring me out."

Hey guys. About 4 years ago I started the evolution game. It was really fun and I'm sure at some point you have seen a variation of it.
Now, for nostalgic reasons, I want another game. The rules are crazy simple:
1) Take pic related and edit it slightly
2) save as .png
3) post it
4) Edit other people's evolution as well.
5) The ride never ends
Since it is such a small and simple creature, I have enlarged it to make it more visible in the thumbnail.
TWO light green pixels are grown instead of one! They act as extra nutrient storage.

You gotta edit it, bro

I'm on a phone.
Can anyone honestly say gw's are twice as good.
I'd argue the reverse.
>tfw you lived to see the company you grew up loving die
>>44698069
It's like GW really doesn't want people to play Slayers.
>>44698069
the greek-ish helmets are pretty sweet
I don't like either very much, though. Slayers ain't my thing.
Have you ever had a campaign that was specifically designed around killing off player characters? Not 'death is possible', 'one of you WILL die, no ifs about it'? How did it go? How many characters did you toss into the meatgrinder?
Is this just something that's a little too meanspirited for TTRPGs, or something that has potential?
>>44697453
Yeah, nah. I guess if you build a campaign around dying heroically and everyone builds vikings that can work. But if you just want to score a TPK? Run Tomb of Horrors as a one-shot. Tell your players to make new characters for it, and to not get too attached. You'll get it out of your system.
If you really wanted to build a campaign around this idea, what I'd suggest is putting together some sort of reincarnation mechanic where you get points towards permanent bonuses for dying in a hardcore enough...

I think that may be the entire point of character creation and family trees in the Pendragon system.
You will spend about an 1-3 hours rolling up past histories and checking what comes of them for chargen. You also can die pretty damn easily and encourages you to die every so often to build more glory.
>>44697453
Don't. Player death should come at their own hands due to a bad role or player mistake.
If you kill your players just to be a dick then you're not gonna have any long
You shoulder the rifle for one last shot. Hopefully the ninja will get sloppy. Lucky for you, he does. Following the arc onto which he launched you, the ninja comes running up the building. At that moment, you bring the scope up, let your brain merge the illuminated and magnified image with its unmagnified counterpart, and pull the trigger. It breaks cleanly and rockets back into your abused shoulder. But the effects on the other end are most extreme. The round take the ninja in the shoulder, ripping through the flak vest. The man twists about, spun by and the impact, and falls....

Here's a crude sketch of the town. Pls no bully. I'm not particularly good at this, though I'd like to eventually be a decent drawfag
Can the rifle be broken down or disassembled in any way?
Have you ever had to deal with anyone playing the little girl in an RPG campaign? What was it like? It is possible to do it without pissing the rest of the party off?
>>44696978
It depends on the setting.
>>44696978
Bad OP for a civil discussion on this. I've done it before but it depends on the setting and the group you're with and WHY you're doing it. That is all I'll say now though, abandoning thread. Next time use something less magical realm.
>>44696978
I made the mistake of starting character creation immediately after watching Game of Thrones with some friends.
One of the players insisted on playing an Arya Stark expy.
Is an industrialized setting without firearms feasible? What conditions would have to be in place for it to be more likely to happen?

Unrealistic ones.

Introduction
In the World of Darkness, everyone's struggle is personal. So every player character here gets plenty of one-on-one Storyteller attention. However, the personal nature of one's struggle does not mean that they are alone. Sometimes they meet others who are on their own path, and when they do, it's always interesting.
(Three more posts detailing how this works if you're interested)

Description
The stories one would read in most of the New World of Darkness books are not about an entire party (as represented by Coterie, Pack, Cabal, etc), but an individual's trials, tribuulations, and struggles. It is about them, not the group they are in. To this end, everyone in this group is a player character *and* a Storyteller. Someone STs their player character(s) and vice versa.
We might have many characters and each of us is on...

I need cyberpunk art. Also cyberpunk thread.
Can Interface Zero handle Shadowrun? I'm intrigued by the setting but I don't want to learn yet another system (which is why I'm making the switch to Savage Worlds).
Most OP pieces of shit. Starting with a classic.
Go.
No one?
>>44696589
OP requires being over-powered for the level of the players. Setting aside the listed CR as being improperly calculated (as stated by the creator) a party of Time Lords should be able to take one down.
If you're talking D20, the classic OP piece of shit is Color Spray.
What happens if the Lady of Pain tries to maze a minotaur?
When it escapes, it gets flayed

Been tried....
I think spoony did a segment on it.
>OK, you know where the exit is, its exactly 27 million miles that way".
Or some such shit.
>>44696498
Thing is, the player was lying. Minotaurs don't have any special maze sense. No edition of D&D gives them such an ability. That was the whole point of the original story of the labyrinth, that the Minotaur couldn't find its way out.
Opinions on this plot general outline:
>World has relatively low planar contact, what there is proves extremely dangerous and intermittent
>The world is slowly dying for various reasons
>PCs participate in the political machinations surrounding a parliament trying to decide on a plan to survive the end of the world
>Progressive faction keeps pushing for more extreme measures
>Measures include citizens being sent...

What can the players do? Seems like they don't have a lot of agency in the matter. No matter what they do, the demon is still going to try and fail at this thing. What's the point of playing?

You lay awake as the morning light slowly creeps its way toward your eyes. Abigail sleeps soundly, laying halfway on top of you where she passed out last night.
You've been awake for about an hour now. Normally you would have gotten up and done something by now, but you're so incredibly sore. Even thinking about moving hurts.
The time when you do have to move is getting nearer though. Moriarty is beginning to circle, and it's only a matter of time before he starts demanding to be fed. On top of that, the sunbeam from the window has been inching towards your eyes ever since you first woke up.
You decide to preempt the inevitable, and carefully slide out from underneath Abigail. You can't help but grunt in pain as your muscles protest against your activities.
"Meer?" Moriarty says.
"Yeah... I'll be fine" You say, scratching his head as you sit up. "I just pulled my... everything"
Moriarty hops off the bed and walks out of the room, satisfied that you're well enough to feed him.
After taking a deep breath, you stand up. Your legs did not enjoy that. You feel like you ran across town carrying half a house.
As you leave, you stop at the door to regard Abigail. Now missing the warmth that you provided, she starts to curl up. You toss a blanket over her and peck her on the cheek before leaving the room.
"Okay..." You say. You're out of bed.
Now what?
