Is there any chapter that could take the DA on in a proper 1v1 chapter battle, including fleet assets outside of the Grey Knights possibly?
They are pretty much the best equipped chapter, kill other marines like no ones business (Chaos and Imperial!) and they have a giant fucking space asteroid fortress that is pretty much indestructible and fucks everything with it's rock hard dick
Also, Space Wolves suck

Currently - any vanilla with the access to Skyhammer Annihilation Force. And before those it were any vanilla marines with decent air and gravguns, since we had neither. We are somewhat below vanilla codex power-wise, brother. Gotta Grim Resolve through it.
Lore/Book-wise Ultras have few dozen more layers of plot armor.

Space Wolves and Black Templars outnumber DA 10:1 due to non-codex organisation. If they go 1v1, it will be a very short battle.

>Space Wolves
Are 2000 men strong whereas the unforgiven are at least 10,000
>Black Templars
Unknown numbers.
Has tabletop ever cost you a relationship?
Not a romantic one, I've never tried to hide the my hobbies and interests.
A few games have led to no more contact with some people.
So it depends on how you are using relationship.

Looks fancy, but why would you have one outside of the novelty factor?
I think its pretty awesome.
I like it.
Why was Innistrad so lame?
It sounded fun on paper, but all it ended up bringing to the table was a new okay waifu.
What went wrong?

But Innistrad was fine. Dark Ascension was cards that couldn't fit into Innistrad. Avacyn Restored was terrible for limited but had some powerful constructed cards, including possibly the most powerful creature ever printed if cheated into play, Griselbrand.
Share stories or just terrible characteristics of DMs you've played with. And share art work or pics of what you think a shitty DM is. Do it for fun. Pic I made relates to my bad DM makes us roll for fucking everything.

Not at all. I was playing a Half-Orc Ranger/Bard

Did it matter if it was raining? Like, were you trying to set fire to the roof as a distraction or something, or was he just wasting time?
welcome, this is a thread for discussion of the Lost Source setting that a section of /tg/ has been working on for the last couple of weeks.
the intent is to mimic the feel of Dark Souls or BloodBorne styled game in a very high tech setting (post singularity). in description, atmosphere, at least some elements of gameplay
so far we have an opening, location descriptions, large tracts of fluff, and a beginning on the crunch, the system we're using runs on a D100 roll-under mechanic.

If the Eldar are aware that the Galaxy is pretty much fucked, why don't they leave? Their craftworlds are self sufficient, and it's not like they need to interact much with outsiders.
Warhammer 40,000 is a tabletop wargame.
>>44728922
Eldar are tied to the warp, and as far as anyone has ever found out, the Warp stops at the edge of the galaxy
IC Answer: The Eldar have unfinished Business, travel would leave the absolutely alone for tens of thousands of years, there's no webway to other galaxies, and this galaxy is their home. To run would be to admit defeat, and in all odds mean dying alone in obscurity. Besides, who says the rest of the universe is any better?

Paladin doomed to get brainwashed every single night of his life until he would become a neutral husk of itself, and not even get any recognition for his deeds no matter how hard fought they were because at the last second his hard fought victory was stolen by an NPC (even though he had everything under control).
He managed to get the girl, but his descendants would had looked horrible, and probably doomed to his same brainwashing fate.

Oh wait, there was another time when they were fighting some sort of monster with a big mouth and the blackguard, the only one left with more than a quarter of his hp, grabbed a bunch of vials of alchemists fire (or something similar, it's been a while, they were objects that broke and caused fire damage) and rolled to shove them down the things throat and crush them inside it. He killed the thing and his arm was ruined.

I've actually got a soft spot for some of these old 90's children's board games and their mechanical gimmicks. Pic-related was one of my favorites; make your pawns out of playdoh and then watch them get mutilated if they're on the wrong spot at the wrong time.
Just picked up Dead of Winter, was a hit on our first playthrough.
I'm a hardcore wargamer looking to expand my collection of casual shit since I just moved and my friends here are either decent gamers but not into wargames, or scrubs and WAAGs. What can I get to lure them in?

Also here's the questions for anyone wanting to answer them:

Anyway, I'm putting together a Basilean army and I wanted to ask. What's better, a Dictator, an Abbess or a Priest with Bane Chant?

Hot off the presses, here is the 5th draft of the Adeptus Evangelion Open Beta.

Please, contain what I can only imagine to be unbridled panic until I can finish explaining.
The Open Beta was always expected to last for roughly one year, on the presumption that the game was going to be about as good as it would ever be by then. We have passed that mark. And wouldn't...

PANIC
In the meantime, there are a number of things we can do to keep the thread bumped.
The first is talking about the OD book to come, which I know at least some of you have an interest in.
The other is non-mechanical improvements to the Player and GM books which, while a long ways down the line, do still need to happen. Examples of this would be art or fluff sections, or just rewriting the whole Second Impact World chapter to something that isn't a total embarrassment.
General AdEva discussion is also fine.

>I will be devoting my time and energy to getting the OD book off of the ground. Only when the OD book is ready for playtesting will I release a new draft of the Player GM books alongside it.
John Wick's just sent subscribers some information about his plans for the 2nd edition of the 7th Sea RPG.
On the one hand, this is the 7th Sea. It's one of my favorite games out there. On the other hand, this is the 7th Sea, a game which is deeply, deeply flawed both mechanically and setting-wise, and the fixes Wick alludes to do not sound promising if I know the guy.
Lastly, this is John Wick. It's been over a decade since he's managed to produce something that wasn't a complete and utter unreadable, unplayable fuckup.
I will...

I was a huge fan of the original show—I was ten years old when it came out—and I’m a fan of the reboot as well. In the new BSG, we still had Adama, Apollo, Starbuck, Cylons and everything I loved about the first show. Sure, they had new faces—and in some cases,...

Okey whoever is recommending stoneman, don't. Hes absolutely shit. Every card from the 20 I ordered looks like it was printed on a home printer and the top cut with a scissor.
Are there actually any good vendors?
Could you post some examples then? Because the only one from him I've ever received where the cut was fucked up was a single Tarmogoyf and he gave me a discount after I told him about it.
All purchasable counterfeits are pretty much garbage at this point. The only reason to bother with them is if you're too lazy to print them out yourself, but you end up paying several hundred times what it cost to print them.
Stoneman had some literal shills here, but once a few idiots actually bought the cards and revealed how half-assed the product was, it seems that those shills disapp-
