After last week's largely woeful affair in Bournemouth, the final round of two matches for two players in the Betway Premier League comes from Birmingham with a Scotsman and a "Scotsman" doubling up.
Kicking off the evening is an English derby with "Scotsman" Peter Wright plays Phil Taylor. Assuming the Clown fucks it up again by changing to yet another set of darts, expect the Groper to finally record his first win over the one person he's never beaten in the 11 years of the PL.
The other double-player tonight is Scotsman Gary Anderson, who then faces Raymond van Barneveld. Gando jobbed his way from a 7-3 victory to a 6-6 draw against Med Man last week by missing six match darts. With Barney aiming for yet another attempt to come from nowhere to get to the O2, this will be one match for which the reigning PL champion will suitably have to raise his game.
Last week's double-player failure in Adrian Lewis plays season-long failure Robert Thornton in the middle of tonight's card. The Fat Man blundered spectacularly against the two Dutchmen last week, putting his playoff place in jeopardy. Wee Rabbie was eliminated last week and has nothing to play for now except 8th place so could pull off an upset if the Stokie decides to once again forget how to play.
Michael van Gerwen, who benefited hugely from the double-match last week, then goes up against the only person to have beaten him in this year's PL: James Wade. Wadey's finishing on the opening night destroyed MVG, who led 4-1 at one stage, and a win for him here could see him end the night in third and scupper the World Number's 1 League Leader hopes.
Clownman closes out the evening against Gando in a match that at one time had a clear winner. Sadly, with one player being an insufferable cunt and the other now a game-raising cunt, this will hopefully follow the previous few weeks' final matches and be utterly shit while ending in a 6-6 draw.

Its been a total yawnfest from week 1 more or less. Taylor and MVG have been nailed on 1 and 2 since the start, Anderson and Lewis fighting over 3rd place with Wade and Clownman close behind all the way through, and the bottom half being predictably sketchy with little jostling for positions there. Only Thorny's remarkable save from the first relegations was unprectiable. Still excited for the Holland leg where I hope MVG wallops the groper.
And that 96 out closes a far better night of darts than in recent weeks.
Clownman continued his curse of Taylor as he managed to end the Groper's 12 match unbeaten streak despite the Stokie averaging 106. In a similar fashion to Barney's victory over Philth last season when the latter averaged 107, the finishing was the key for Wright in victory. This might hopefully be the start of some cracks in the Taylor game...
Barney bombed out of the PL in terrible fashion as he fluffed five darts to go ahead 6-5 and lost to Gando. This has been all too common for the Dutchman this year and has repeated what Kimmy did last year and Thornton the year before: he just could not close out matches.
Snackpot recorded a vital win over a non-challenging Thornton who at least played better than he did last week, but his awful finishing nullified any battle with Lewis.
MVG took advantage of Taylor's implosion by issuing the forever-pummelled Wadey with another brutal beatdown to go top: a 108 average with a 78% checkout rate is more than revenge for the opening night defeat. Van Gerwen once again demonstrated that when he needs to perform, he does.
Gando and Wright then played out a decent draw which isn't very beneficial to the Clown, but could have been worse without that D18 as it keeps him in the playoff chase.
