Since Curry is probably done for the season, they don't really NEED to win the championship this year to prove they're the best team of all time. They do need to beat the Blazers and put up a good fight against the Spurs though. They only need to make/win the Finals if Curry comes back healthy in time, otherwise they have a good excuse.

In this current season, 2015-2016, Warriors won 73 games but have yet to finish it off with a championship. If they don't win it all THIS year the whole season was a fluke because it didn't end in a championship. Not talking about any other season, I'm talking about the current one.

The 90s Bulls where GOAT level in almost all areas of the game. They had great defense and great offense. They had one of the best players of all time in all areas of the game in MJ. They had one of the best rebounders of all time and a few defense players of the year etc etc
Each of those strengths can be seen as weapons in the debate as to being a GOAT level team. Being each of those areas plays into any fantasy like match up of different eras. Where as the Warriors are pretty much just a pure offense based team. They have shot very well this season and huck up a mind numbing amount of three point shots. Yet some how something like 35% of them still go on.
but that's basically ONE weapon. "We shoot well" and while it was enough to win a lot of games in the normal season it's really hard to say that alone makes them an all time great team. Being it's just one thing vs past dynasty level teams with championship rings and strengths across their entire game.
