Dwyane Wade has signed his contract with the Chicago Bulls.
After spending his entire NBA career in Miami, Wade officially became a former Heat player Friday when he inked the two-year deal with the Bulls that will pay him about $47 million.
The Chicago native played 13 seasons in Miami, scoring more than 20,000 points and getting selected to 12 All-Star teams.
General Manager Gar Forman says in a release that Wade "provides a great veteran perspective on the court and in the locker room" and "will be a tremendous fit with our team."

Barnes' role was to defend multiple positions at an above-average level, hit open jumpers, and drive to the rim when someone closes out too strong. He hasn't been on the court for competitive ball in over two years. Getting him up to speed by playing against scrubs would help ease him back into the game.
