Dad was never into sports and I don't even remember if he went to a game, might have played catch a couple times. Mom went to every game and got super emotional every game, bought me ice cream if I scored.
>dad didnt like soccer till I played it
>watched all my games and was just really supportive
>even watched premier league games with me
found out later after he died he never liked sports at all in his life till he saw me playing. i still tear up when i think about how supportive he was even tho he probably didnt like it.
>dad raised me as single parent
>too busy working to provide me with food and shelter to sign me up for sports
I understand, pops
