because if Jones won, he would be stripped of the title and it would make Cormier look like shit. Brock getting done for drugs means nothing for the sport because Hunt never would have got with reach of a title shot regardless. It was a freakshow match up, where as Jones/Cormier actually had some meaning behind it besides money.
