Is futsal really popular in India?
>>69556829
Well I can imagine so. I've been to India and the climate is horrible for sports, as are the field conditions. I can see futsal being a good choice for sports there
>>69555600
might be cool
>>69556829
No. Football is popular, but not many know about Futsal.

How popular is football compared to cricket? Is it developing well? One of our player (Robert Pires) went to India to play in your pro league. Did you heard of him?

Cricket is everything here. It's like what football is to Brazil. Football doesn't even compare. There is no infrastructure for the development of good players. Apart from a few regions (the northeast, Bengal, Goa) no one follows football. It is growing in popularity amongst the middle and upper-middle class though.

Of course I've heard of him. I've been following football since 2002-04.
Crespo beats Ronaldinho.

Football is popular in mostly these franchise locations (traditionally Bengal, Goa, Kerala), though infrastructure for starters is basically non-existent.
