I think he just needs a change of scenery, Pep didn't need him much so he just sat on the bench and had no reason to stay fit. Hopefully Ancelotti either presses him to become fit or transfers him to somewhere where he is used.

I just don't see a future at Bayern for him. The guy needs to go somewhere else, back to Dortmund, to the Premiership, it doesn't matter as long as he's got trainer that is willing to give him some gametime.
