In a football stadium, about what % of the seats are for fans of the visiting team?
>>69507370
this could only be an american thread
In Brazil, between 5-10 percent.
>>69507370
none of them. if you let opposing fans into your stadium then you need to step up your game.
Bengalo/60000
0%
semen slurp is not popular in our country
>>69507391
I thought just the same. It's like those threads starting with "how do we fix football" or "what if we change this rule...".
>>69507370
0%, why on earth would you make any kind of special accommodation for visiting fans?
>>69507370
Maybe 10%? Something like that
desu, in burger's defense, I've been wondering about it myself...
surely there are some hardcore fans who visit their team in every game
In my town it's 5% (26k places total, 1300 for the visitors)
They're in a "corner" of the stadium

In my experience, very low. In football, they tend to congregate behind the visiting team's sideline. There was a good number of other Raiders fans along that area when I went to Miami to watch them get fucked by Reggie Bush in 2012.
Brazilian Confederation Regulation:
Art. 60th: The visiting assossiation will have the right to acquire the quantity of tickets corresponding to 10% of the stadium's capacity, since it manifest itself until 48 hours before the realization of the match.
But here in Brazil it's not unusual to buy a ticket for the home team's chairs even if you cheer for the vising one, also there are explicit sectors for mixed fans.
>>69507370
In our league it is 5% and it used to be 10% for the cup, but now is 5% too.
Bramall Lane gives a 2,990 section of a stand to away fans and has an overall capacity of 32,702
>>69509506
Don't worry tiny UK, I'll do the math for you: ≈ 9,14%
are you sure tiny brazil?
1 in 6.
If border states 1 in 4
>>69512272
I'm just going to tell you this because you're cool for inventing football:
You have to multiply 2990 by 100 first and then that you divide the result by 32702. ;)
>>69507370
Usually a minor part of one side of the seats behind a goalpost.
In San Siro, Milan, away fans go to the 3rd row, the highest, where you see ants instead of players.
When the away followers are alot, they get a full sector behind one of the goalposts.
>europe/SA separates the fans
and they call us savages
>>69512272
How retarded are you?
>>69512272
I don't like your son tough...

Oh, what a stupid amerilard thread.
>>69507370
The answer is 10%.
>>69513968
>have to do it under the table
Simply barbaric
>>69513889
This is rare nowadays in Brazil.
>savages
Europe and SA were always fanatics about football, the US never had this fever with any sports.

They should be kept divided even outside the stadium

>>69509287
are you honestly dumb?what was the last match you went?
Every match is divided, only if is some kind of joke like Grenal or the new Maracanã which is honestly a pure joke with mixed fans. it is shit, it ruins the atmosphere, even uni games have separated fans, and if someone goes to to a visiting match in the home steam stand they have to fake it, don't celebrate goals, etc.
>>69512272
Please tell me you're not a civil engineer.
>>69514189
Are you crazy, buddy? I've been to the Flamengo x Atlético-MG this weekend and it was just like that, everybody mixed!!
>>69514244
yeah that is what i said, joke stadium like the new maracanã
>>69514189
Here's your proof. Give close and you can see the red jerseys and the white jerseys all mixed.
>>69514345
turn your tv on right now and see the Palmeiras x Santos. everybody is mixed.
>>69514189
Wrong.
>>69512272
Please, please kill yourself, you tiny little moron
>>69512272
holy fuck, advanced troll or does this guy have down's syndrome?
>>69513889
It's because we fight each other, but I guess you guys don't have any testicles which helps you avoid that problem
>>69514476
you are retarded, every big match in Sâo Paulo has no visiting fans, only home fans, and i can't watch the game because Globo is shit.
Anyone have the pic of the lower league Polish side that has the cage for visiting fans?
>>69508820
I'm sure someone does it, but I don't think it really meshes with American sports.
since there's no tickets allocated to the away team, any tickets purchased by away fans would line the pockets of the home team, right?
If you're fanatical enough to travel across the US ~8 weeks a year for your team, you're probably anal enough to not want to 'fraternize with the enemy'
>>69515584
That's not even the one I'm thinking about, but thanks
>>69514639
We remember it's just a game and fighting is reserved for people with a different skin color than us
>>69515019
It's already ended.
Goals from Yerry Mina (ARG) at 1ºT 6' and Gabigol at 2ºT 10'.

final score: Palmeiras 1 x 1 Santos
Tite was watching the game to select more players to the NT.

I think it depends on the relative size and popularity of the teams involved.
I saw Dundee United v. Rangers at Tannadice, and they had portioned out about 50% of the stands for visiting Rangers fans.
