And since you let me, this is my key player and guy with best average rating :3
Halfway through the season I stopped using him at right back altogether. Now half of the time I use him at BWM(s), and then Sweeper when I go 5-2-2-1.

Position - games played - av. rating
WB (R) - 11 - 7.55
M (C) - 13 - 7.65
SW - 15 - 7.44

Have never been able to figure him out even during his top form he would perform at absolute shit in certain games. Odd inconsistent player that was falsely labeled. >if your country stopped pandering to Messi

That's only been happening recently though. I know it must look that way from the outside, but he was heavily criticized for most of the team's probelms until this last Copa América, when people realized that his teammates are idiots. The problem is that when he left, everyone also realized that we were left with those idiots and without Messi, so they went overboard and began doing the complete opposite, which is basically saying he's perfect.

Both are wrong, but what can you expect from the NT fans, they aren't really football fans.

Why hasn't Tevez gotten a callup since 2011 besides last years copa?
He can at least score when Messi hands him one of a dozen one on ones per game.
>>
>>69496713
because they rack up assists and key passes from crosses while also getting higher ratings from defensive work. similarly designated playmaker roles are completely fucking useless
>>
>>69496713
I got 1 WB and 1 FB but the WB is stealing all the fun
>>
>>69496720
Apparently, it's because Messi & co. don't like him. But I don't believe that, if only because the journalists who say that are the same ones that keep pushing the "People's Player" meme on Tevez, when in reality only Boca fans. Aside from that, his performances haven't been that great since returning to Argentina. Though that's probably (allegedly, maybe, who knows really) because his team played bad on purpose to get the manager, Arruabarrena, sacked, so Barros Schelotto could be hired. He's playing better now.

Personally I think that we have better (and new) strikers that we could try out, like Dybala and Icardi, maybe Marco Ruben, etc. However, Tevez could probably get the job done and I'd take him over Higuain and Aguero (who I love, but has been palying like shit.)
>>

>>
>>69497106
I thought he did pretty well for Juve to get a callup. both of them
>>
>>69497106
That's kind of how I felt for this tournament, that Tevez+Dybala instead of Aguero+Higuain would've been better choices. Maybe giving those two a summer completely off would have encouraged them to stop missing open nets in finals.
>>
>>69497150
>>69497171
Yes, I agree completely. One of the things Sabella was criticized the most about was not calling up Tevez when he was performing really well for Juve.

And about Dybala, he was actually going to the Copa, but those fuckers at Juventus didn't let him go, or to the Olympics as well. Which is irrelevant now, since we might not even get 11 players together for Rio. That's how fucked up AFA is.
>>
>>69497239

That was last year, kind of the begginning of the shitstorm that we have today.

It was the elections to decide AFA's new president. There were supposed to be 75 votes, but the guys who were counting the votes fucked up (yeah, right) and let an extra vote go unnoticed, so it ended up tied 38-38=76 votes. The thing is that the winner was (apparently) going to be the opposition to the guy who was already president. You can never e sure if these people are really incompetent, or just corrupt. I don't know which one's worse, to be honest. If you're corrupt, at least you might be smart.

The worst (or funniest) part is that they had a camera pointing at the guys who were counting the votes. When they realized that there were 76 votes, one of them said something like "Fuck's sake, 38-38, what do we do now." That whole conversation is hilarious.

Dreams.

Italian leagues are so fucking unstable, Ternana were in the Serie C two seasons ago and have been middle table in Serie B two seasons in a row, Livorno and maybe Latina were in the Playoffs last year and are now in a relegation fight. I think Verona were in the Serie A last year. Frosinone have been yoyoing for five years.

They would've, but the representatives of two clubs had already left because they had flisghts to take. And when they tried to decide on a later date, there were endless arguments becasue they couldn't reach an agreement and a year later we still have no president and FIFA might fuck our shit up more than it already is.

You literally cannot make this up. There is no end to the incompetence (and corruption) in Argentina's football. And politics too, probably.

>player called Terry Holt

>>69502490

Too low. You need to put in a retarded amount if you really want to keep the player. Put 60M or something like that. For my best cheese scouted by Farça and the likes, I put the maximum amount (around 135M€), even if they're not worth that much. That way the IA will read it as "Triglav is unlikely to want to sell" and they won't bother.
>>
>>69502560
I mean, I would have sold the kid for £10m if anyone had offered

The worst part is in the Summer Chelsea offered £5m and the board saw that as too good to refuse and I protested that and they fucked off, I couldn't even protest this time
>>
>>69502490
>>69502560
If you put 10M and a club offers even for less than that, it means that they were ready to spend that much but are trying to get away with a lower price. Which works when if/when your retarded chairman accepts. You really need to put an insane asking price.
>>
>>69502596
See >>69502606. Putting an asking price of 10M doesn't mean you will receive offers for 10M all the time, it means that clubs who want your guy need to be prepared to spend that much to get him. So if you want 10M, you actually need to either offer him for 10M and hope a club will make an offer for that much, or put an asking price of 20, if not 30+M€ or even significantly more if you know oil-rich clubs are scouting your guy.
>>
>>69502606
I'm just sad because this kid could have been the San Marino legend who plays for club and country but now he's at Chelsea and will be loaned out to Vitesse and waste his massive potential

The good thing is, if he does waste his potential then he'll never be good enough to play for Italy and will have to declare for San Marino

>>69502645
Even when I offered him out for £10m people were only offering £3m or at most £5m with like £4m of that being "after 10 goals" and over time. When people offered £3m and I negotiated for £10m they walked away immediately.
>>
>>69502659
Well as I said, you will soon learn better. If clubs aren't ready to match your valuation of your player, put an insane asking price for him and don't bother. I know I'm in that situation: due to being in Eastern Europe with cheap wages and a league/country with low reputation, big money clubs from big leagues/countries try to come in an poach players for cheap even if I know that they're worth so much more. I just put an insane asking price to signify that I'm not selling at all. Next time don't tell yourself that you're willing to sell for 10M, just tell the AI that you don't want to sell at all. Ironically for once, it's how it also works IRL: pretend you don't want to sell, and only huge buxx clubs will even bother.

So, season over. I get an amount of points that any other season would have won me the title, while Man City beat QPR 2-0 to become the first team to break 100 points. I'm the only one who beat them.

On the plus side, my 16 year old 154cm left back scored his first club goal. It was a header.

Pic related: it's a Championship club that will have EPLEL shekels next year willing to poach a CL playing lad I have. He didn't develop as much as I wanted and I was actually gonna sell him to poach more yuff after he becomes a HG player (just for bragging rights). I asked for 30+M when negotiating. They didn't run away and I'm getting mad shekels and percentage of next sale if he turns out to be something eventually.

However it helps that the board sucks my dick and that I currently have the 14th coeff in Europe as well as Continental reputation, but my home league is still "only" the 11th league in Europe.
>>
>>69502710
Honestly the worst part is I have all this money with which to buy a replacement but I can't offer anyone more than £4k p/w because of league wage restrictions
>>
GET FUCKED, STU, GET FUCKING REKT
>>
>>69502828
Same for me because of East Euro wages. My highest wage is of 25.5k/w for fucking Nigel De Jong (no kidding). Even my cheeses and other great youth isn't paid as much. 25k/w might seem a lot for you, but I'm a consistent CL playing team qualifying for the knockouts every year with decent rep and everything. I'll show you how much EPLEL wannabe club will offer for wages for my Italian striker if he accepts the contract; pic related are is current wages.

it's also why I focus on poaching youth left and right: I can't get players as good as my key players without paying literally 5 to 20 times the wages, well over 100k per week if not twice as much.

Not really, is just that AMD CPUs are shit for games because they lack clock power (good for compute tasks like encoding videos because such software actually make use of multi-core CPus/multithreading). My CPU is cool but it's barely ever under load and there isn't a GPU either in there to increase the temps inside the case. Last time it was under 100% load, I was searching for trips and it went as high as 50 IIRC.
But yeah, remove the dust, clean the heatsink, reapply paste and pray. And check if there isn't a task that uses your CPU like mad.

Just go here, it works.

Why is my CPU this hot? I've only got my browser open. It's probably hotter than the sun when I'm running FM.

How do I avoid this when getting a new PC? I suspect the problem might be the fact that I had my PC custom made but just had all the cheapest stuff for cooling/power

>I had my PC custom made but just had all the cheapest stuff for cooling/power
Here's your answer you damned cheapsake. If you use the stock heatsink with the stock fan, of course it's gonna be noisy and hot, these are fucking shit. So much shit that Intel doesn't even provide one for their """best""" CPUs: mine didn't come with one.

Still really high temps tho': check if you have anything running wild in your Task Manager, unplug it and dust it off as well as renewing the paste (I keep repeating that, get a clue and do it already).
I only have a 212 Evo cooler and nothing to ever complain about. My case isn't even one with top airflow: it's a Fractal R5, which is more built for silence than anything.
>>
>>69503232
>>69503291
Also, the cheapest power supplies also will run hotter if it's running clause to its limits and will as well be noisy. Nevermind becoming hazardous over time! The higher the efficiency and wattage of your PSU, the less noisy and the cooler it will run.

They don't usually bitch, but when they're done bitching I give them a 4 or 5 year extension and forget about them. They'll bitch again some time after but since they're on a long contract they're not going anywhere. After that, I extend their contract 4 or 5 more years.

But I'm playing Schalke. I didn't overperform and the team is young and constantly improving. I played 4-4-1-1 towards the end of this season which is the same shit every other team in Germany played and it still didn't work. Granted, my team had poor morale by then, but I still completely underperformed considering the quality of my players. I Googled FM Second Season Syndrome and some people say they have this and others say they have no issues even if not changing strategy. I literally only picked them because I thought the player growth could offset me getting raped season 2 as always

I play 4-2-3-1, 4-3-3 or 4-1-2-3 with one defensive-minded mid, one deep-lying playmaker or box-to-box and one advanced playmaker. a winger and full back on one side and an inside forward and wing back on the other. Striker is poacher or complete forward.

Customized instructions are:
look for overlap
play out of defense
retain possession
roam from positions
more closing down
sometimes with a high defensive line

My odds for winning Bundesliga were 4th best and fucking Mainz won the league this year.
