Only thing to need to be fixed is the referee fucks up (or blantant refball), which could be done by the use of camaras and the oportunities for each team to request a revision of controversial decision in some plays (like fouls, cards, and shitty behavoir like fingering players or flopping to get a penalty).

The proponents still win the majority of the times though. It's also good that the gap is closing and basically any minnow can stun a top side on a given day with stalling the game tactics. And I personally love it when the muh possesion team gets cucked the f.o by the bunkered and set-pieces/counter team. Their own fault. So there's nothing to fix. And even if there were, they ones in charge of fixing it should be the players and the managers in the field, not some shithead CEO's of some fucking board in an office.
Also, NT competitions are different from club competitions. Managers get players from a variety of clubs and patch them up into the NT for a couple of weeks training together before the actual beggining of the tournament, so it's harder to play as a team. In addition to this, NT tournaments start in June, that is right at the end of a very demanding 9-10 months club season, so you can expect tired/injured players.
All this tends to favour a conservative/defensive approach being x1000 more sucessful than these playing proposals actually are in club competitions.
