I think winning the B1G West this year isn't out of the question; I think they're 2-1 favorites in vegas at the moment, same as Iowa.
Last year really was very flukely with all the losses that happened in the last 2 minutes of the game, and if you want to attribute that to poor coaching I won't stop you, but at least two of those losses were the fault of the player's (Illinois and BYU namely.)
The bowl game against UCLA is really the best example of what this team can accomplish this year, against quality opponents.
