I know this will seem surprising but the Nazis under Hitler weren't even -that- bad. It was the lunatics that surrounded him and the higher spheres of the SS that were extremely dangerous to the world.
Hitler himself divided the ethnicities into culture creating, maintaining and destroying officially although sometimes he would let one slip. He may not have believed deep down there in that classification, but at least he made an effort to maintain it and be diplomatic.
Just look at the atrocities the Nazis commited in Greece when they were farthest from Hitler's control and you get to see what would have actually happened to Owenes in Nazi Germany once Hitler died.
