No one else seems to have made one edition.
Today's stage: Arpajon-sur-Cère - Montauban (195km)
2 3rd category climbs, 1 4th category climb - not likely to have much happening, likely a mass sprint again.
Yellow Jersey - Greg Van Avermaet
Green Jersey - Peter Sagan
Mountain Jersey - Thomas Degendt
White Jersey - Julian Alaphilippe

The Prime Minister of Denmark has offered to host 1-3 stages in Denmark 2019, 2020 or 2021. What do you think about having a TdF Prolouge in the beautiful Kingdom of Denmark?

We did host the first 3 stages in the 2012 Giro d'Italia

Andy shifted gears while attacking, he deserved what he got. Tactical error isn't the same as a crash. Anyway, Andy did the equivalent that same tour on the cobbled stage.

>Plus, doping
Never tested positive.
>>
>>69323447
Well yeah, there's 30 km of light descent / flats after the final hill, any attackers will be caught by the peloton there

This is 100% ending in a mass sprint
>>

That was a dick (alpha) move but somehow Berto is more likable than the rest of the currently riding GT winners. I would bandwagon Nibali but he is too inconsistent. Anyways Schleck officially won that Tour (2010) so why aren't you happy? :^)

Are you serious? Quintana is handedly the most likeable contender of the last few years, the man came from poor farmers in the Colombian mountains and is charmingly humble

>Quintana is a well-rounded cyclist and makes mountain attacks all the time, what are you on about
So does Froome, that doesn't make him an attacking rider. Also, Quintana isnt as "well-rounded" as Contador, Nibali or even Froome. He's a poor descender, bad on short steep climbs, has no acceleration(relative to the other big 3) and is poor on flat time trials.
>>
>>69323766
Are you straight-facedly saying Froome isn't an attacking rider?

And Quintana is a terrific descender.

Am pretty fine on rain tbqh. Ride a pretty cheap mountain bike, not a road bike, so I guess I am riding fatter tires, but never had problems with traction or breaking. The breaks do squeal like a pig when wet. On snow or ice though I don't take those chances.

why do so many people have the exact same time on the scoreboard? do they give the whole peloton the same time and a bunch sprint is just for the stage victory?
>>
>Mémer
>>
>>69325346
Yes

Though first, second and third place gives you some extra seconds taken off your time
>>
>>69325343
Or as slovak champion or as WC road champion or as points champion
>>
>>69325346

They do. Also if you arrive in the last 3km before the peloton finishes you also get the same time, even if you crash.

Have yet to find a pair of gloves that isn't padded as fuck.

there's something really fascinating about how cyclists take big turns
it might be the way they lean to turn, how smooth their bike is cutting through the road to create one unique curve. Anyway, taking turn are one of the finest thing of cycling. it's so noble

I've found mechanix gloves to be great for cycling if you don't like padded gloves. And if it isn't close to freezing temps they keep your hands relatively warm even when it's raining.

Yeah, we had similar roads here, but since we're trying to kiss the ass of everyone in the EU and stroke our dicks with the roads, they extended quite a bunch of older roads and cleared the trees from the sides. And sure, they're faster and safer and all that, but they feel boring as shit.
