In what way is it unpredictable? Yes you can't predict a first corner crash or an engine blowout but car performance is very easy to predict and you can bet on qualifying too which takes the random factor out a bit more. I read something from James Allens blog a while ago about the strategists and the sheer size of data set they have to predict things. Surely that could be applied to betting as well no?
