Saint-Lô - Cherbourg-Octeville, 182 km
That final climb is right in the overlap between two Venn diagram fields: hilly Classics specialistsand yellow jersey contenders. This means the chances of a break sticking are slim, with many teams motivated to control the racing. The more Classics-oriented sprinters such as 2agan and Michael Matthews might fancy their chances.

2agan is going to be second on todays stage
>>
Hey guys. I'm back.

Is every flat stage quite tight at the end?
>>
>>69194308
Pe1er will win this stage

>>69194390
Pretty much. Sometimes the break away or a late attack might win, but it's seldom. The peloton is much faster on the flat.
>>
>Sag3n
>>
>>69194481
>Pretty much
Thank you Ireland. I have watched the tour time to time every year but never tried to learn everything about it.

Nice with people like you.
>>
>>69194390
There's two small hills at the end, so there's a chance someone can break away and keep distance. It's not a 100% sprinter stage like yesterday.
>>
>Froome attacks on the last climb with a couple seconds advantage
>Gets yellow and keeps it for the rest of the tour
>Another boring GC battle
>>
>Tfw video feeds don't start until 2:10pm
Goddamnit, I want to get comfy.
>>
>>69195027
Froome needs a mtf to get enough time to hold off the goat herder-ax 3 and psm. The first mountain stage had a descent. This won't be like 2013 or 2015.
>>
Kinda shitty that Contador already looks like he's a goner for the GC with the fall yesterday.

the whole stage will be recorded, but to show it live they need to have helicopters and planes in the sky. that's the expensive bit.

may as well save some money during the non-important bits of these stages.

this patronising of dimension data is getting on my nerves. their final 3 riders yesterday were eisel, boasson hagen, cavendish. they're not some poor 3rd world team that struggled to get enough money to take a 15 day bus trip from africa.

The broadcast is managed by the ASO(TdF organisers), and sent to all broadcasting channels. Some broadcasters channels further edit by having ads or doing their own repeats, but generally everyone has the same images but with different commentators. The French influence has a tendency to pop up whenever a French guy is doing well during a stage, where sometimes they get disproportionate attention, at the expense of more interesting parts of the race.

My name is Tyler Farrar, sprinter of Team Garmin Transitions. During a race I need perfect vision. To protect my eyes from changing light and UV rays I wear Garmin adaptive lenses - everyday. So I wear Transitions adaptive lenses - clear indoors they automatically adapt to changing lights. Garmin Transitions - always the perfect protection for your eyes.

Ofcourse not. Original:
>Tony Martin (Etixx-Quick Step) was caught in the crash at km 60. Was he too tired to pay attention? This morning, he told letour.com: “I had planned to go to bed earlier but I couldn't. I had to watch the penalty shootout to the finish. I'm glad Germany won in the end. I was so hyped up that it took me a while to fall asleep.
It's from the live stream on letour.fr

Yeah this is getting ridiculous

More ads than coverage so far

And no Phil and Paul :(

Eurosport does that a lot... with the 24 Hours of Le Mans. For three years in a row, EVERY SINGLE AUDI CRASH was during Eurosport obnoxious long ads.
