It's time we divide this non-country into three.
What are the best possible teams for the seperate regions of Brussels, Flanders and Wallonia?

I've just started and as you can see it's still pretty uncompleted, especially Brussels. Can you guys help me complete this?

BRUSSELS EXTRA - Boyata, Mujangi Bia, ???
FLANDERS EXTRA - Mignolet, Kums, Defour, Vanaken, Engels, Tielemans, Lombaerts, J. Lukaku, De Bock, Foket, Dejaeghere, Dendocker, ???
WALLONIA EXTRA - Proto, De Sart, Mirallas, Cavanda, Edmilson Jr., Emond, Kabasele, ???

I've just started and as you can see it's still pretty uncompleted, especially Brussels. Can you guys help me complete this?

since when do these wannabe dutchmen divide belgium into three? since when is bruxelles seperate lmao
>>

Well, Flanders and Wallonia have enough foreigners for themselves.

>>69114651
You should also return Eupen-Malmedy to Germany.
>>
>>69115310
If Belgium breaks up, Brussels wouldn't join Flanders nor Wallonia, so they'll probably be independent or a shared capital of two countries.
>>
>>69115419
It's their choice and that is one of the options, yes. They have also suggested to join Luxembourg or become independent themselves.
>>
>>69115486
Perhaps we need to remind them what choice is healthier for them...
>>
>>69115526
don't worry. they'll establish sharia law on their own
>>

And you can help them rig elections in whatever favour if they don't.

Why does your country even WANT to split up?

It's the same shit as UK, except the EU has gone "you're not relevant enough to get EU deals Scotland" Same shit would happen for your meme splits of Flanders and Wallonia.

Flemish guy reporting in.
10% of flanders is mostly retarded and think that because someone speaks another language or lives in a region that's less rich then theirs, that those people are basically thieves and are the reason why everything is wrong. Sound familiar England? Same for immigrants of course. And also a lot of them are frustrated because three generations ago french speaking people in Flanders laughed at the peasant non french speaking people because they were just good at digging up potatoes. And the most ironic thing is that the vast majority of french speaking people in belgium are Walloons now which are partially flemish people that moved there and mixed/adapted and learned french because there used to be NOJOBS in flanders. Pretty funny how stupid the arguments of the flemish nationalists are actually.

I don't get why though. Splitting up is for meme historic legacies. That's why Scotland want it.

Catalan too. Georgia place to. Aarland too.

I'm curious...

Why is language such a divisive issue in Belgium? You never seem to hear these issues from Switzerland or Luxembourg.

Bruxellois reporting in

On top of my head:
Brussels: Januzaj, Leya Iseka, Musonda Jr, Onur Kaya, Franck Moussa, Merveille Goblet, Umut Gundogan, Joris Kayembe, Nathan Kabasele, Andy Kawaya, Lukebakio
>>
>>69117173
Because historical reasons. Switzerland and Luxembourg are less relevant than Belgium.

Difficult to answer. But to be fair, it really isn't imo. I live in a flemish town where there are a lot of french speaking people and everybody just leaves each other be really. It's politicians that make a big problem out of it and some stupid people jump on the bandwagon.
Although the main problems used to come from historical reasons but that's so long ago imo. Basically in flanders if you were rich you spoke french, poor you spoke flemish and if lucky rudimentary french. In Brussels some french speaking people were suppressing and blocking language rights to be attributed to the flemish in courts, army etc which lead to injustice and other nasty things. After a while the flemish people emancipated and flemish was recognized as a full fledged language in Belgium. But still people attribute arrogance and malice to those french speaking bourgeois that don't understand the people. With time this stigmatization spread to french speaking people from Wallonia and the orignal purpose of this hatred was forgotten. And also now that Flanders is the richer region they just want to fuck with the Walloons. But deep down we are very similar imo and everytime I go to the Ardennes the Walloons are total bros.

>Why is language such a divisive issue in Belgium? You never seem to hear these issues from Switzerland or Luxembourg.
Belgium's pretty much been made by French speakers who forced the rest of the country to follow their ways. Now that the Flemish aren't famished illiterate peasants anymore, they're rebelling.

Switzerland was a political union of convenience without one part prevailing on the other. It has a very different (and much longer) history.

Luxembourg's just a German principality within the traditional French sphere of influence. They don't have linguistic issues.

No, that's why we will not split.

Holy shit someone get this cuck out of here. You surely don'y believe that walloons at least should learn basic Dutch? Yeah, flemish guy needs to adapt yet again. Language border has already moved to far and we can not make any more concessions to the Walloons/francophones.

If you follow your reasoning you end up in a federal European superstate. Or why don't we just join the Netherlands, Germany or France. Please leave, Guy Verhofstadt.

National identity is important and having a "country" of which every federal political decision is about Flanders vs Wallonia vs Brussels is tiring.

Also, you haven't given one single argument, you're just thriving on your emotions.

Found it. A bit before this point you can choose to enter either side of those roads. Figured if I wanted to turn left I should probably be on the left side.
