Shaken by the events of the 2016 European Championships, our boys have matured, grown and gelled as a team. They work hard, most if not all playing for clubs that demand a high work ethic and good fitness levels - plus, with the recently established Winter Break, our lads are fresher than ever and raring to go.
A daring 5-3-2 formation sees our hardest working, most energetic players providing our width, while giving our central midfield a chance to control the game, and two strikers who can work off each other.
The two years between now and then will see maturity in both physical and mental aspects; will see a rise in quality, in confidence and in form; will see a golden age for England and so a golden age for the world itself.
