Well 1st one goes like this. They were playing some other team from the area(can't remember which, Minerul Anina I think, Minerul = the Miner, fairly common commie team name) in the league and 2 weeks later in the cup. Deal was they win in the league, and the others win in the cup. They beat them like 4-0 in he league, more than enough, but when it comes to the cup game they decide "fuck it" and win again. Away. Big mistake as the other team, followed by their staff and a bunch of fans who were all in on it try to lynch them so they barricade themselves in the lockers. Which did not deter the drunken miners one bit as they tried to kick the door down, used a fucking mining trolley as a ram and then tried to make their way through the wall with pickaxes. My uncle's team sent one of the players, a short fast guy to get help and he squeezed out a window made it to the first house only to be pelted with eggs and manure by the people there. Stinking like shit he made it to the police station where they had him locked up for protection. They had to escort the team out with Gendarms after a 2-hour siege.
That was not the end of it, since the away league game was the next spring, but the Party decided to play it on neutral ground. Which ended up being a good decision all in all, although the ref had to give out something like 6 reds and 10 yellows and break up a number of brawls between the 2 teams. My uncle lost 3 teeth that match. All paid for by the Party who didn't want to let this shit get out of hand.

2nd one:
Again, fixed match, as one ought to do in the low divisions of Commie Romania. Well, they're playing against some hillbilly team, supported dearly by the shepherds in the area. Deal was, my uncle's team loses, the shepherds pay'em in cheese, milk and yogurt(that shit was not easy to get during the shortage years of the '80s). Thing is, their coach wasn't in on it, only some of the players, including my uncle.
My uncle's team goes on to score in the first half. All's fine and dandy, they're supposed to give the fans a semblance of a show. The other team obviously brings it level, and takes the lead late in the game. By this point, everybody caught on to the scheme, including the ref and the coach who operates 2 changes, hoping the players he was bringing on were not in on it. In comes my uncle again, who sees the ball gently breezing down the center field kicks it, only for it to get diverted by some unlucky fag and end up in goal.
Now, when you make a deal with shepherds you don't go back on it if you like having your skeletal structure intact, and the guys in the stands(pic related) were already toying with the idea of turning my uncle into a pinata. So he somehow knows has to make up for it and literally tackles an enemy player down in the box the very next minute. But the ref was pissed, out of dignity or because he wasn't made part of the deal, so he doesn't award the penalty. The shepherds were getting angry and a couple invaded the field, only for my uncle's team to PROMISE to let their guys score. Which the others didn't, because it was one of those days. In the end they had to concede an own goal.
The worst part is, my uncle, being the one responsible for all this shit, had to give his share of the dairy goodness to the coach. And to be benched for the next matches.
He also ended up having to walk home along with 4 other "suspects" from the team through mountain paths and mud roads.

Low divisions were usually a boring deal, you knew all the teams and players, so you knew what to expect. Cup matches were a beast of a different nature, and my uncle team is playing this team they didn't know. Now their coach leaves, and in comes his replacement, a heavy drinking swearing priest. And if he thought the old guy was hard, he got the Magdalene Sisters hard-ass mother fucker now.
Well, the priest wanted to prove himself and to make the town proud, so he tells the team God wants them to win, and if they don't, that's fine, the church has a few dozen acres of land that need some gardening done, and there's no one to do it. Except the team of course. With that incentive in mind, they went on to play, away again. My uncle being now played as a full back, was being literally raped by this really fast gyppo dude, the priest yelling at him that he'll be working him like a fucking mule, promising to wash away his sins in blisters and toil. Literally.
So my uncle does what he needs to, kicks, fouls, elbows, nothing is below him. Guess the fear of God makes you behave like that. And the gyppo doesn't do shit about it. Until close to the second half, when my uncle loses him, again, and the gyppo makes a run for goal. Which my uncle stops by what he described as a kung fu move that would have made Ip Man proud. In comes the card and it's red of course.
Now, if you read what I wrote before you know how 3rd and 4th tier Romanian football works. The away team invades the field, including the priest who begs the ref. And the mother fucker changes it to yellow. Now, it was still level at half-time but my uncle doesn't get subbed, surprisingly. The priest disappears during half-time, to the ref's locker room as my uncle later found out. And the 2nd half is a fucking sham, refablling going for my uncle's team who win. It was the days after the fall of communism, and my uncle was now playing for a 5th division side after a long spell in the 3rd and 2 years in the 2nd. He's playing more out of pleasure than shekels, so that's fine.
They're playing some team from the other side of the country(120 kms, more or less), home. And they're supposed to be playing them at 4 o'clock. And they don't show up. What gives right? By 4:20 a couple of players and the coach make it to the stadium, they hiked their way there. What happened was, the bus had a flat tire and the driver called for help by radio. That was around 1. By 2 o'clock when help arrived, he was dead drunk in a ditch singing Serbian WW2 Partisan songs. And the problem was that no one there had the driver's license to use the fucking bus, so the players had to hitch it all across the county, and only 8 of them made it to the stadium, one being a goalie one the coach.
The ref was ready to give the match to the home side, but they're begging him and shiet to allow them more team, but he wouldn't hear it. Until some guy came up with the idea: why don't you use our reserves? And they fucking do.
So, my uncle changes shirts and comes in for the opposite side. And in the late 1st half, he is fouled by one of his momentarily former teammates and is given a penalty. Which he takes, because if you get it you take it. And misses, maybe because his heart wans't in it, maybe because he didn't want to, maybe he just fucked up.
By the 2nd half the rest of the team made it somehow to the stadium, so at half time my uncle gets back on his team. And like fucking karma, one of the opposing players commits a handball and another penalty is awarded, for the experienced 2nd division player to take. And my uncle, being a fair cunt, does a Baggio. to everybody's keks, including the ref's. He literally told the goalie "Don't bother diving."
tl; dr: my uncle missed 2 penalties for 2 different teams in the same match.
