Not until le'feminazi start watching sports, which they probably never will. It's kinda funny that in the age of feminism, you would think they'd be eager to start some kind of feminism for sports movement, but they just aren't intersted enough in sports in general.
The only time feminists cares about sports is when they feel that female athletes gets asked sexisits questions about their clothes etc (where they have a point, to be fair). But all in all they don't really give a crap about their female athletes, unless it is to occasionally push their feminist agenda of course.
The solution is simple really: If more people watched female sports, the female athletes would get paid more.

Professional teams should be based on income produced, but I wouldn't have a problem with the women's national team getting paid the same for their participation as the men, especially given how much more successful the USWNT is than the USMNT

You're a disgrace. The WNT competitive scene is just god-awful. That's why the USWNT does "well", because their relative competition is absolute garbage.
Instead, we should actually pay them LESS. Pay them basically nothing, because we could do just as well with college players, and getting 2 million for winning the WWC is not worth the millions the USSF pays to the players/NWSL.
