Lads of Spee. We need to address a serious matter that is destroying footy. Parking the Bus. ITS A SHIT. We need to collectively solve this problem. Here's my take.
The 4 FC's will consist of two strikers in the middle, and two wingers on either side. These are all the attack you need when fighting against a team parking the bus because we will be playing hoofball, the strikers will never move away from the defender and try to either A get a through ball from the wingers or striker partner or B get a cross in from the wings.
The midfield major role is to recover the ball after the defenders head it away from the box after a cross. Other than that, Mid right and left will go to their side and hoof it in. Now, it sounds easier said than done, but their only partner they need is the winger on their side. that is honestly all.
Finally, the defenders will be sweepers in case of a counter, deep lying defenders that will be able to cut out any long passes or catch a tired player running half the field.

the defence is literally how most top teams play, but with the fullbacks basically becoming wingers in midfield and the actual wingers in a 4-3-3 being inverted forwards

It's only to be used while the bus is parked, not the full game. once the team tries to counter the formations will return to normal.

And by watching yesterday's game, Croatia B looked way better
I think we are going to start seeing 'plays' as in American Football. Barcelona already do this sometimes with their balls drilled into feet and one touch layoffs for players running onto. It's clearly a move they have worked on in training.
Whereas the normal way of playing football is for the guy in possession to assess his options and then decide what to do. This is simple to defend against because players are so robotic, trained from a young age to do the 'right' thing in every situation. Easy do defend when you know exactly what the attacking players options are.

It doesn't matter how many forwards you have going forward, it doesn't matter against a bus. As long as the defending team have good structure and a height advantage during high balls it won't be a problem. Look at Iceland. All 3 goals we have conceded at the Euros have been from fast passing play. We've defended probably hundreds of crosses into the box with 4 forwards waiting.
Only way to stop the bus is to play high tempo football with minimal touches. But don't tell England.

The way to break down a deep, compact 4-4-2 is to quickly switch the play from one flank to the other. This opens up gaps, which can be penetrated with some fast combinations and intelligent movement off the ball.

Most professional football teams have been doing that for decades. The tempo of current top-level football is only sustainable because the movement patterns have been drilled into every single player.
