It's not that he pushed him into the corner, it's that he pushed him too hard. I've seen it at every level to make passes before. Harvick did it to Johnson for a last lap pass a few years ago. He pushed him just enough to get him loose and sliding up the track, but Rhodes did it hard and Reddick didn't have room to slide up
