I miss the times when every year there were at least 10 football games worth playing.
I remember being quite invested in a rather "obscure" game which here was titled Mundiales 98 (others might probably know it as Golden Goal 98, Bomba 98, Three Lions, etc).
The gameplay was decent, but one of the things that called more my attention at the time was how "inmmersive" it felt. Among many details, I remember that if the action was in the middle of the field, the stadium crowd was quite silent, but the closer you got to any of the areas, not to mention if you made a killer pass, the more excited they got.
