Reading on the EA site for FIFA, it feels like they decided to change all of the gameplay for 17, but this has honestly yet to be seen/played. I think they're going for a more PES like approach, with smart build up, holding possession, and being able to actually shield the ball from defenders.
I hope this is the year that when your opponent sends 3/4 players to mark one person, you can easily cut them open due to space on the field.

No, PES2017 will not have J-League, where as Winning 11 2017 will. Also, PES has lost the license to La Liga, but will still have all the players, but they've expanded the editor again, so it looks like everything will have to be done via edits.
