This is the cup people play for because World Cups come once every 10 years. Its important because people get bored or want to forget how terrible thier club played this year.

CONMEBOL and UEFA are both the only relevant when it comes to football. UEFA with 10 WC titles and CONMEBOL with 9 WC. So both are equal relevant when it comes to a confederation title. Other confederations tournaments can be qualify as "Everything else"
It's completely irrelevant. I doubt anyone cares about this tournament. The real Copa América took place last year. This is just a bad american reboot for money.
