My point is that the number of bad teams that will advance with the 32 teams format is the same number with this current 24 format, so no, the total number of matches will be 63 (64 if there is a final for 3rd place) instead of 51 like now, but 16 teams will be eliminated, not only 8, so it doesn't change anything from the round of 16 to the final, and like I said before, every team will fight to death because there won't be this 3rd place bullshit rule anymore.
