'16 Cavs
>>
Saved by the Cavs
>>
>>68739190
Not really. Even if they pulled it out they had a bad postseason. They were a completely different team the last two series from the regular season.
>>
>>68739060
Saying they were a better team is saying Lebron is a better player than Jordan.

Chicago bulls were the stacked team with GOAT COACH, Jordan, Pippen, and Rodman.

They won only 72-10. Warriors were a better team, but Lebron beat them with Kyrie, a bunch of goons, and a random nigger called Tyrone coaching them.
>>
16 cavs could beat em
>>
>>68739413
The Warriors played at 100% every game in the regular season.

Almost everyone plays at 70% until the playoffs start to pace themselves and prevent injury.

The Bulls went 72-10 barely trying while the Warriors went 73-9 playing every game like it was last night.
>>
>>68739506
>The Warriors played at 100% every game in the regular season.
>small ball death squad LITERALLY sat all their 4th quarters cause they kept blowing people out with offense and meme 3's.
LOL NO.
>>
>>68739298
People would have still argued GS was better. Now they can't. TY LEBRON
>>
>>68739139
>>68739448

This.

Anyone else beat a 70 win team 3 games in a row?

Anyone?
>>
>>68739642
I don't think you understand how the NBA really works.
>>
>>68739506
This. It was quite 100% but I truly believe that they won 73 because they had the unique combination of being both a TALENTED team and in INSECURE team, which motivated them to play hard every night in order to go for the record / prove themselves.

Yes, '96 Bulls are still #1. Mostly because they're the greatest all-time defensively and mentally. If it came down to a game/matchup/moment that mattered, they would absolutely lock in defensively, get in your head, and shut you down. Yes, even (especially) the Warriors.

Nah, but Ty Lue was part of the greatest team
>>

I don't think you understand how fractions work.

>play 3/4 quarters
>100%
KEK.
>>
>>68739060
if you ever doubted it, then you don't deserve to know the answer.
>>
Rodman would get 40 RPG vs the 16 Cavs
>>
>>68740835
You're looking at it from a game time perspective, not the actual effort put in.

If minutes were the only way to determine effort then all players only put in 30-50% every game.

Fucking dumbass.
>>
>>68741058
That's if Rodman can perform in and against zone systems.
>>
>>68739060
For all you millennials who took the meme team literally and never got to see the "UnstopaBulls" do work let me break it down for you:

Curry vs Jordan: Jordan dominates offensively and defensively and tilts Curry to the point he out right quits or fouls out trying to keep up with a better skilled and more athletic opponent.

Pippen: One of the best forwards to do it hustles on both sides make big plays pretty much a less flashy LeBron

Rodman: Dominates the paint on defense and mentally fucks everyone on the court.

Verdict: Bulls 4-0 sweep
>>
>>68740835
They're bench players then came in and played at 100% to continue growing the blowout margin and their egos.

This isn't hard to understand retard.
>>
>>68741212
>Doubting Rodman

he skipped practices and shit during both finals to go to mandrama then he played the next night and dominated Malone
>>
>>68739060

Spurs, Thunder, Cavs, and Warriors would all beat the 95-96 Bulls in a 7 game series on a neutral court. Sports hs evolved to a higher level in the past 20 years, and there are no expansion teams to beat up on.

For those who follow track, Miruts Yifter would have gotten his shit pushed in by Kenya's B squad in a 5k today, despite all his WRs and OG and WC hardware.

OKC

>I have passionate opinions about a bunch of celebrities who wouldn't piss on me if I was on fire
I understand speculating like this is fun but there's no need to get so worked up
>>
>>68741265
I said if, that doesn't mean he can't.
>>
>>68739060
Yes. No team in any sport can claim to be the greatest of all-time without winning a championship. I'd say the 2015-16 Golden State Warriors are the basketball equivalent of the 2007-08 New England Patriots (both teams had perfect or near-perfect regular seasons, but lost in the championship game/series).
>>
>>68740835
Literally KYS
>>
>>68739694
>>68741316
Actually they beat them 2 times in a row but point taken, if your point is that GSW laid an egg in the playoffs

No, Bulls were never number one.

FUCKING NOSTAGIA GOGGLES THE TEAM
>>
>>68743745
Jordan and Pip are arguably the greatest duo ever. And the three in the pic made it a all time defensive team.

Spot on. If jordan gets to hand check in the game, curry gets 6 points MAYBE, jordan WILL fight through those illegal screens.
>>
>>68739060
This was --never-- in any doubt.
>>
>>68739506
Giving 100% as a meme 3 team isn't as taxing as giving 100% as, say, a hard in da paint realnigga team
>>
>>68743965
>hand checking
>implying this is a good thing

Using tactics like isos and hand checking is why I think the Bulls are overrated. As well as Jordan.
>>
>>68743819
>talking about a great defensive team and not mentioning Ron Harper
Were you even alive in the 90s?
>>
>>68744094
You understand how fucking amazing what Jordan did on the scoring end was? You make it seem like the bulls were the only ones that could hand check. That's why the league for SO long was center and forward driven. The fact that Jordan had niggers hand checking him all the time, coupled with a lack of Defensive 3 second rule makes him the undisputed GOAT.
>>
>>68744683

>now remembering that Bulls/Jazz finals game where Rodman and Malone had a near-literal wrestling match on the floor tripping and leg-locking each other, and the refs just sat and stared.
>>
>>68744683
John Fuckin Starks dude was a top 20 guard but he will be immortalized as Jordan's bitch in basketball and fisticuffs
>>
>>68745469
Those Bulls/Knicks series should have been the finals. Also they were some of the best series ever.

he also played when zone was banned. he wouldnt average 30 if he played today
>>
>>68745469
Starks was Reggie's bitch. Reggie was Mike's bitch
>>
>>68744310
Harper wasn't nearly on their level. The team overall was great defensively and I said that.
>>
Including playoffs, how can anyone NOT think they're the greatest ever?

72-10,15-3 in playoffs
87-13 overall

Warriors
73-9, 15-9 in playoffs
88-18 overall

Even if they won the chip this year, how could anyone claim one extra regular season win is worth 5 more losses in the playoffs? They would have been 89-17 which is still worse than 87-13, especially with most of those losses coming in the playoffs

73-9 might get broken again, who knows, but I think 87-13 will last forever.
>>
>>68746393

This. Everyone was so fixated on le 73-9 meme that they failed to realize that the Dubs already had more losses than the 96 bulls during the OKC series.
>>
>>68739694
Why would a team put themselves in a position where they had to beat another team three games in a row?
>>
>>68739506
This
Every game they ramped up the threes and let nothing by, and while it was an impressive display the futility of it was proven in the semifinals against the fucking thunder.
Giving it your best effort is important but so is making sure you can win when it counts. The Warriors won so much in the regular season that when the cavs started to make a comeback they panicked and the insecurity took center stage.
