Well, amx drove his fastest time on fucking mediums while both the softs and the super softs wore out much quicker than they had anticipated. They hadn't even originally planned to switch to mediums. In other words, if they had incorporated mediums in their tire strategy they could have probably made one stop less and their lap times might even have been faster than they would have been on softs or super softs.
I understand that as a team you can't get everything right the first time racing on a new circuit, but there is no excuse for such a suboptimal strategy.
