Look for amateur leagues. Much easier to predict in those. Particularly if there's two evenly matched teams you'll find a lot of points scored late so you can typically get a good line for the 4th quarter O/U.

Anyone else keeping a diary to remember mistakes and good choices to develop more strategies?
I've found that betting live sometimes I get stuck deciding because I didn't come up with a plan beforehand and miss value. Then get hotheaded and lose money. In the last two weeks I raised 200 euro from my starting 100, lost 70 today thanks to silly decisions. Keeping track hopefully lets me avoid them next time

I've tried to make like a grayscale of over/unders. Some teams are extremely defensive and play in concrete courts, so their line should be around 130-140, if I see a 160 it's a go. Today what happened was that I saw a 160, yet it was inplay, and as the line was low from the start of the match, it meant that they already scored a shitton of points, so my bet was not value at all.
Comparatively if the line was, say, 150 or 160, then the thing I bet on would have been probably around 170-180 in-play. This means that the bet would've been value in both situations. The thing is that the second one depended on the flow of the match, if it became a low scoring game match wouldn't have had any value.
Long story short: o/u for full time is prestake>>>in-play
Handicap is way more versatile than I thought, effective both in prestaking and inplay. Prestaking is better if they priced wrong even teams. Inplay is better because it doesn't depend on them pricing right, but the 'feel' of streaks and teams bouncing back (I always go for pluses, almost never for minuses)
SW even though it's basically a -0.5 handicap is very solid, because points don't work the same way when teams are close to each other. Say, a -4.5 may not be value but it's SW will, because you just know that a team is scrapping that win but don't know by how much. It also is a better choice than small pluses, better value with the same reasoning.
Soccerway'ing your way into basketball bets ruins your 'feel' of the matches. Today I bet on a team that's won every single third quarter in 9 matches, but they lost. Quarter bets don't matter much for teams inplay as the actual score does, among many other variables. O/u in quarters seems exploitable though.
