My cousin went to mizou and she said that there'd been a few cases of students getting jumped or attacked that were suspected to be motivated by race, and that there was a fairly strong Klan presence at the school (by fairly strong I mean it existed, you really dont see that shit here). She also said the protests were a huge waste of time, and that everyone was pissed they had to take so much time off school that they were paying for (she was on a full ride scholarship, but still).
Also apparently there were a lot of people on the mizou football team that didnt want to stop playing, including black players, as it could have potentially fucked their careers/reduced their exposure from a football perspective.
