Baseball used to be fun as a kid like all other kiddie sports American kids play (soccer, volleyball, etc.). But time passes and we grow up to enjoy real sports.
Also there are too many fucking baseball games in a season, and it shows on the reflection of the players. They don't give a shit half the time. They are already in the MLB and making millions, they don't have much else to prove.

Baseball is by far the best North American sport, and I'll include soccer for the sake of debate.
Why?
Quick example. You'll never see garbage like pic related happen in baseball. And that was just one week of soccer games!
There's no clock in baseball. That means the opponent can't employ cheap clock killing tactics like parking the bus, kneeling down, and passing the ball around.
It's the least star centric sport (the NFL is comparable here, though). You can have Clayton Kershaw, Mike Trout, and Bryce Harper on the same team, and still miss the playoffs quite easily. in the NBA, just go get Lebron on your team and you're guaranteed 40 wins. Simply surround him with some okay role players, and it's an automatic playoff team. NBA roster building is an absolute joke.
Least amount of referee influence of all the sports. And once homeplate umps get linked up with pitchtrax, the officiating in baseball will be completely uninfluential to game outcome.
Possession doesn't change hands after a score. This translates into every inning being meaningful. It also means no lead is ever safe.
