4411 isn't a meme senpai. I'll do a quick writeup in a little bit.
4-4-1-1 Guide:
ST: Should be tall and relatively fast. Good heading accuracy and finishing. You'll be crossing a lot to him and your CF. If you don't like crossing a pacey striker is acceptable too. Size and strength aren't as important here as they are for your CF.
CF: Most important position in the formation. Needs to be big (6'0" at least) and have very high physical. Zlatan is the ideal CF. I've also used TOTS Ilicic and he's great as well.You'll be playing with your back to the goal lots and using LT to shield the ball from the attacker. Holding up the play like this creates space for your other attackers and allows them to move forward. If your opponent also uses AI press and double teams you it can create a ton of scoring chances. Set to stay forward and targetman in squad instructions.
LM/RM: Decent defending and physical, good crossing is a must. They should also have decent finishing as they'll be getting into the box when you hold the ball up with your CF.
CM: Both your CMs need high physical and defending. You don't have a natural holding midfielder so these guys will be doing all the work in the midfield. Good longshots are a bonus as your CF will create a ton of space for your midfielders.
LB/RB: Up to personal preference. I like players with H/M workrates who bomb forward and create scoring opportunities but if you aren't very good at defending you can use M/H players.
CB: The defensive workrate must always be equal to or less than the attacking workrate. This formation is relatively offensive so if your CBs push up all the time you're fucked.
GK: They're all shit so pick which ever one gives your CBs chem.
Pic related is the squad I use. Zlatan is the perfect CF but there are a lot of good choices. I'd stay away from small and weak CFs since I find them pretty ineffective in this formation.
Not super in-depth but I don't feel like spending more than 5 minutes writing this. It should give you a good idea of what players to use anyways.

Been playing a couple days, managed to get a decent Serie A team to guide me into Division 8, at the point now where I can't improve without spending sufficient cash, which is where the problem lies.

Haven't used Dybala, as of yet - been rocking a 3-4-1-2 with Higuain and Bacca up top and they've been scoring for fun. Division 8 is a grind though, it's just constant Walcott-Lukaku-Chamberlain up top with Moreno-Otamendi-Kosc-Clyne at the back.
Nainngolan and Varelo run the midfield for me, was going to look at Pjanic but things are all good for me in that area.
