lebron = peypey
steph is more like roethlisberger
>>
>>68474305
are your u saying curry raped that girl at the allstar game?
>>
>>68474098
Except its more true for Curry than any other NBA star

MJ didn't need a team to carry him
Kobe never needed a team to carry him
LeBron never needed a team to carry him
>>
>>68473264
How'd he do inthe last. Championship run?
>>
>>68474548
Literal asterisks
>>
>>68474479
Kobe in playoff was on a average leved desu
He needed Shaq and Gasol to carry him each years Lakers won.
>>
>>68474570
Don't compare that to the amount of help Curry has

I'm going to even go this far - if it weren't for Curry, the Warriors would already have 3-4 more rings
>>
>>68474553
All bullshit aside, what were his numbers like last yrs playoffs, compared to this yrs
>>
>>68473264
At least he wins championship
Lechoke james about to be 2 -5 in the finals

you were doing so well with the thread, then you got too ambitious

He has one of the best supporting casts of all time, so it's abit hard to judge.

So you're going to deny that Curry hasn't been a net negative this year?

GS pretty much playing NHL at this stage
>the team with 10 starters is beating standard teams
How long before the just sign the cavs and the spurs and just bring 30 players to each match?
>>
>>68477360
I didn't say that.
>>
>>68474479
lebron got carried hard. jordans team without him played well had a winning record and made the playoffs. kobe was shit when he didnt have a great core around him
>>
>>68477448
same shit gets shitposted everywhere. doesn't matter where it comes from.
>>
>>68477741
Alright, true.
>>
>>68477692
this shit is getting ridiculous. every single team with a historically good player (lebron, kobe, jordan, bird, magic) could have made it to the playoffs without that historically good player
>>
>>68479785

BULLSHIT.

Dude, the '06-'10 cavs were GARBAGE. The starting 5 was:

>Lebron
>literally who (mo wiliams)
>literally who (antawn jameson)
>literally who (delonte west)
>literally who (the corpse of shaq)
>>
>>68480552

that was the 09-10 roster, but it was the same deal in the previous years (albeit with a different lineup).

cleveland was absolute trash had it not been for lebron.. '08-'10 lebron still makes my dick so hard.
>>
>>68480552
Andy V and Ilgauskas used to be good

Eric Snow and Larry Hughes didn't get to the Finals with multiple teams by fluke

2008 he actually had a legitimately good team around him and could not get to the ECF
>>
>>68480726
i'm sorry brah but all these guys would be lucky to make the bench on the actual chip winning teams
>>
>>68480726

you're trippin, man..

a quick wikipedia search reveals that the '08 cavs starting 5 was:

>lebron
>zydrunas ilgauskas
>mo williams
>delonte west
>BEN FUCKING WALLACE

cmon, senpai.. just admit when you're wrong.
>>
>>68480846
>BEN FUCKING WALLACE
>greentexting Ben Wallace

Yourself: End It
>>
>>68480910

ben wallace was like 40 years old and on the starting roster for the '08 cavs..

>greentexting green text

you know how i know you're gay?
>>
>>68481030
Ben Wallace was 33 and still an elite rebounder and defender when he joined the Cavs

he didn't have another star next to him but he had a well assembled team of role players around him and a strong bench behind him in 08 and 09. Those early teams were pretty shitty overall but their failures in 08 and 09 were very much on him.
>>
>>68480615
>'08-'10 lebron still makes my dick so hard.
God bless LeBron and Harlan for giving us "WITH NO REGARD FOR HUMAN LIFE!"
>>
>>68481168
>Ben Wallace was 33 and still an elite rebounder and defender when he joined the Cavs
he averaged 6.5 boards in the playoffs and he couldn't play more than ~25 mins a night. he was by no means anything more than a bench player at this point in his career.
>>
>>68481168

the strong bench consisting of:

>wally sczerbiak
>booby gibson
>sasha pavlovic
>varejao
>joe smith

you're kidding yourself regarding the fact that the cavs had a playoff team in 08 without lebron.. that's a joke.

'07 cavs were the gnarliest young lebron era year when they lost to san antonio.. but only because bron bron put up like 55 points against detroit when detroit was dope.
>>
>>68481417
the only reason his minutes were limited was because of the depth they had in the post, Varejao and Ilgauskas and even Joe Smith were actually good.

their backcourts in 08 and 09 are among some of the best of the last 20 years.
>>
>>68473264

is there anyone that roots for this guy who isn't cucked?
>>
>>68481168

and like >>68481417 said, ben wallace was a washed up bum by the time he landed in cleveland.

i grew up in cleveland and have been watching the cavs since robert fucking traylor was our best player.. the reason lebron left is because the front office was so incredibly incompetent that they never realized they would have to put a solid team around the star player in order to win championships. i totally understand his frustration.
>>
As someone who doesn't watch NFL other than super bowl how accurate are these assessments:

Curry = Payton Manning
Kobe = Tom Brady
Draymond Green = Richard Sherman
Russell Westbrook = Colin Capernick
Dirk Nowitzki = Joe Flacco
Lebron = Tim Tebow
>>
>>68481556
those three are all bench tier players against against the celtics. none of them can come anywhere close to matching up with kg and them you have perkins to body the fuck out of them with.
>>
>>68481556

which team were you watching?

ben wallace was never any good in the year he played for cleveland. Z was a good post player with a solid mid range jumper, and varejao was a good post player who didn't even develop a jump shot until like 2012-2013.

Z and ben wallace were both so slow and immobile.. they were in their mid 30s.
>>
Lebron is elway

Curry is Peyton

Brady is magic

Montana is Jordan
>>
>>68481688

right??

>paul pierce
>kevin garnett
>rajon rondo
>ray allen
>kendrick perkins

compare that to lebron and a bunch of scrubs and you will start to realize just how dominant 07-10 lebron was
>>
>>68473264
>Take away his team, and he wouldn't be shit

THIS so much. And he gets a huge pass from the media for shit that would get others roasted.

Unanimously voted MVP....p...lease.
>>
>>68481589
>Lebron = Tim Tebow
wew lad

Probably more like Roethlisberger.
>>
>>68481757
they also had james posey, the best lockdown defender in the game
>>
>>68481757
>that guy who can't even get in on the clipper's rotation this year
>washed up old man who was past his prime even 8 years ago
>guy who literally can only pass and do nothing else
>was only good because people hadn't figured out how to guard the 3pt line yet
>shaqtin a fool MVP

people keep telling me that boston squad was elite, but I'm just not seeing how they were anything more than above average at best. This years warriors/cavs/thunder/spurs would sweep them
>>
>>68474479
>Kobe never needed a team to carry him
check out this fucking idiot
Kobe needed Shaq for his entire time with the Lakers, look what's happened since Shaq left
>>
>>68481922
>look what's happened since Shaq left
kobe won two more chips while shaq won one then went ring chasing
>>
>>68481907

you realize i'm talking about these guys 8-9 years ago, right? boston was tough as fuck..

i mean they beat kobe prime lakers in what, 06?
>>
>>68473264
What does Kershaw got to do with your post?
He is his team.
>>
>>68482105
>prime kobe with literally whos
I mean come on the team was bound to be shit even parker would actively try not to pass kobe the ball.
>>
>>68481907
because it was loaded with superstars/ring-chasers, that's why. look at the damn names, two guaranteed HoFers plus one who should be anyway; the GOAT 3-point shooter and a top-3 all-time PF. That Celts team would have had to collectively shit their pants for 4 games straight to lose that year's Finals.

>>68482044
Kobe found new guys to fall back on, that's all.
>>
>>68482166

>bynum
>odom
>gasol
>kwame brown

ok
>>
>>68474479
>MJ didn't need a team to carry him
>who were Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman
>>
>>68482341
that's not 06 lakers
>>
FACT: There has never been a GOAT-tier player who was the head/co-head of a dynasty that was not "carried" in some way by his team.

Except Bill Russell. Fite me.
>>
>>68482372

i feel like derek fisher was in there somewhere as well..

who wasn't on the '06 roster that i listed?
>>
>>68482604
gasol. bynum was still a rookie and fisher wasn't on the team.
>>
>>68474479
>LeBron never needed a team to carry him
>>
>>68482902

oh, word..

i'd argue that rookie bynum was the best version of bynum, though.
>>
On a scale of thunder game 6 and 7 to JUST, how much will it hurt when he wakes up during crunch time like he always does and wins the series?

Do you even realise what you're litterally setting yourelf up to?
