Jonas helped the midfield a lot playing the pivot role, made decent passes while Coutinho, Elias, Renato and sometimes Willian fucked-up. And he played when Lucas wasn't in, Dunga used Renato-Casemiro-Elias, no creativity, so he suffered.
Not saying he's some superb striker but he's the best we have.
