Well for one, when Ali talks shit about his opponents, you can tell it's from the perspective of someone who has studied his adversaries and mastered the techniques in order to best them.

if you want to see what you're talking about, the rumble in the jungle foreman fight is exactly the fight you should watch.. He basically sits on the ropes for 6 or 7 rounds and only throws a flurry of punches in the last 10-15 seconds and basically lets foreman wear himself out.
