That's a good assessment 2bh. So many of the best players in European teams are south American. Suarez, Messi, Aguero, arguably Neymar (although I personally don't rate him as much), Higuain, Sanchez
Then again obviously Europe has Bale, Ronaldo, Lewandowski, Griezmann, Muller, Ibrahimovic, Kane, Pogba, Modric, etc.

Southamerica has been an unstoppable factory of great players as always
Europa has been better in the last decade because economical gap between both confederations has increased exponentially thanks to the technological globalization, which allowed european team to invest more in young academies, clubs infrastructure & maintain stacked top clubs and leagues (without the risk of having a bad generation, since they can buy any favela kid that play in any position they need just for seven pesos), which allowed european FAs to keep their elite players in their homeland, allowing european NTs to have a closer a more active relationship & feedback with their players.
Europe is better because they have the best teams, despite not having the best players.
