That's just a really grainy image. The green is fine, but no longer elite because of how jersey styles have changed.
Back with the Rebook jerseys in the early 2000s, this green was one of the coolest jerseys out there. The shoulder pads were bigger, so there was more space to have the name on the top and the numbers could be bigger.
With the newer Nike jerseys, everything is streamlined and form fitting, plus the collar cuts lower and has the alternate color as a thick trim, which makes everything look more squished.
