The Big 3 in Boston were getting into late in their primes, but hadn't left them yet (else they wouldn't have been a contender for the next 3/4 years and won a chip).

Dude the Boston big 3 were out of their primes. The reason they won is they set aside their egos and took up roles dedicated solely on their goal. No hero ball, 4 turnover, inefficient 3 chucking.
