Everybody sucks the Raiders dick when it comes to tecmo bowl but there were some good counter attacks. Barry Sanders was pretty OP but I loved playing as the Bills. Jim Kelley was one of the best quarterbacks in the game.and Thurman Thomas was pretty good too.

Good, that means he'll be more rested for his snaps as a receiver. They're also wanting to play him outside more often, so we might see him take the next step up this season.

D) all of the above

yeah he's the exception, but he's more of a hothead than anything. seriously, they had to tell him just to run down to the other side of the court just so that he wouldn't react, since several of his technicals weren't even really fouls, just him blowing up over something. sure he can play a bit dirty too, but no team is perfect. watching westbrook flop like a fish trying to draw nonexistent fouls on jumpers is just painful.

This is my list, as a NYG homer

All NFC-East team:

QB - E. Manning

LT - T. Smith
LG - J. Pugh
C - W. Richburg
RG - Z. Martin
RT - L. Johnson

WR1 - O. Beckham
WR2 - D. Bryant
WR3 - D. Jackson (Not sure who to put here, seems weak compared to 1 & 2)
TE: - J. Reed
RB: - E. Elliot (probably)
RB2 - S. Vereen

>Brees No.6
>Wilson No.8
>Bortles No.14
>Flacco No.15
>Carr No.17

I know you can't please everyone with these lists but the 3 biggest are absolutely absurd

1. Nobody has been a better QB than Tom Brady since 2010
2. Palmer has won a a single playoff game in his life and that wasn't until surrounded with an absolutely ridiculous amount of talent. He is not an elite QB above either Brees or Wilson
3. Bortles hasn't even won 10 games in his career. To put a player above a guy who was drafted the same year as he was while being far more successful in Derek Carr AND an actual Superbowl MVP in Joe Flacco is completely baffling

Blake Bortles had 18 interceptions and 14 fumbles last year. Don't be surprised when he shits the bed this season and turns into Derek Anderson 2.0 and remember where you heard it first

Also he was sacked more than anybody else over the last 2 years
14 fumbles on 55 sacks is fewer than Brett Favres 14 on 34 sacks in his second year
Bortles line is the worst in the NFL and if he can get even 1 extra second to read the field he will look great

>Having a passionate fan base and the loyal support of our season ticket members is vital to the success of our organization. We value the commitment you've made to us in the past, so I felt it was important to reiterate to you my duty to build the Detroit Lions into a consistent, championship-caliber franchise.

>It isn't going to happen overnight; it is a step-by-step, day-by-day, week-by-week process, but I'm very happy with the strides we've made in a short amount of time.

>We've just concluded the 2016 NFL Draft. Our goal going in was to acquire tough, big, physical and durable men that are versatile football players. I feel we accomplished that. A focal point for us in the Draft was to add more quality players to our offensive and defensive lines because both units are critical to the success of any football team.

>In addition to improving the Lions roster through free agency and the Draft, our players are benefitting from a superior daily training structure with new strength and conditioning coaches and the addition of a performance dietician to our staff. We've completely renovated our weight room, made improvements to our athletic training room, and player's locker room. Our coaches and support staff are placing a strong emphasis on enhancing the way we develop our athletes.

>We were able to do this because of Mrs. Ford's promise to give the fans what they deserve -- a winning team. This is the main reason I came to Detroit. There is more work to be done, but we've put a strong foundation in place and are optimistic about the future. I hope you'll be a part of it.

Hyde, if the O line can go out and be above average and he stays healthy it would be nice, i want to see what he can do in 16 games

I'm scared
>>
>>68058387
probably, but it will take at least another decade imo. the last time we won, we had eddie D with seifert coaching and shanahan as OC. we've had two owners since then that shot the team in the foot so until the current one learns enough from experience (he's not even fucking 40 yet) and we've had to suffer through seeing our team on Hard Knocks a couple times, our front office MIGHT just wise up enough to properly build a long-term successful machine.

until then, we'll just have to hope for flash-in-the-pan flukey kind of successes that have no bearing on how well we're built. maybe chip can pull out a couple of those.

i think 12 was still a time of high optimism
they went from sucking in 10, new coaching staff and now they're 1 game away from the super bowl, it just felt so good to see them as 1 of the legit top teams that even though losing to the gnats sucked i still felt optimistic about the future and felt good about the team
that Aints game at the stick is still one of my favorite sports memories

Don't worry, by that time we will have found out how to live forever so every team will end up stuck with their owner for as long as the owner wants

well maybe he'll at least have better access to credible information that way

that was actually pretty emotional for me too at the moment. I was visiting home at the time to help my sister move out since my dad was so ill he was under orders to stay in bed, but I took a break from packing to watch the game since it was our first one in almost a decade.

after the alex smith rushing TD my dad hobbled out to congratulate me and give me a hug telling me he knows how important that win was for our team and how much we've went through in the meantime. then he went back to his room cause he was already pushing himself.

a couple minutes later brees hits graham for the 70 yard TD and I couldn't have felt worse. now we're down 4 with under 2 minutes and my dad just jeopardized his health further because he thought we already won.

so when that final play of the drive hit though, I was pretty torn up about it too, for multiple reasons. I really felt for vernon davis too
