As to Ianetta, there is an understanding that because of his job on defense, offensive production won't be massive. Ianetta is a top 5 pitch framer in baseball, you have to decide what you value more.
Sure Z might (MIGHT) hit better, and he's an above avg defensive catcher, but him being rushed to the majors a few years ago may have done major damage to him. Let him develop a bit more.

Iannetta gets on base frequently and remains one of the game's best pitch framers. Catchers these days aren't really much of hitters when you look at it, however.

In 2003 under the current playoff format, we'd be #2 Wild Card. Look it up.
DiPoto was never a bad GM in Anaheim. He had them contending almost every year but his teams fell short, and it wasn't him making all the decisions there, but Moreno for the most part (Pujols/Hamilton, others).
I think though, what he'd need to do well is create a farm that doesn't get oversold like it did in Anaheim (he sacrificed a lot of pieces there in trades), and spend and add wisely. The front office is now his, it wasn't always his in Anaheim. So far most of his offseason moves this past offseason have worked out. With Jack Z, you'd be certain to see at least 2 additions off the team midseason.

Who's been the biggest disappointment on your team?
For me, it's easily Kendrys Morales. After coming up with a Silver Slugger Award in 2015, I had big expectations for him. But now, I don't think he's ever going to meet those. He's an offensive liability, and too easy of an out for the opposing pitchers.
I'm also thoroughly disappointed in Yordano Ventura. After that hot second half in 2015, I thought he would finally pick it up and become the Ace Ventura we want to see. Instead, he has zero control of the ball, and is letting games get out of hand quickly.

Yordano is always going to be spazzy. He pitched a great game 6 in 2014 and we all thought he turned the corner to be an ace.
