Just watched the one about the rise & fall of the Orlando Magic on Netflix, that's gotta rank among one of the best.

Once Brothers was intense

I obviously don't know the whole story but I don't think Divac deserved all that hate, it was clearly a big misunderstanding and what was even sadder was Drazen turning his back on him as well, basically being brainwashed.

I like the Lacrosse one more than I thought I would. But, it should be removed from existence. Women don't need any reminders of how easy it is to permanently fuck up a man's reputation with false accusations.

Hillsborough is pretty rough
June 17th 1994 is the GOAT. Uniquely made. 0 interviews. All news clips.
The U & The U P2 (although not as good) are comfy to watch
Rand University, Brian and the Boz were dissapointing

This online short about how MLB schedule is made (10 minutes) was pretty funny cause it was like 2 pissed off old people.

Women should watch it

Not only was the District attorney crooked and the Police investigating were crooked and the media doing the bullshit they do, they all got BTFO by the truth.

The DA got disbarred, the cop killed himself, the lying hewer stripper is in jail now for killing her boyfriend and the 3 lacrosse players are now helping other men get out of prison for being falsely accused and got a huge payday from the school for being so biased.

I'm surprised Espn would even allow that episode because it shows how fucked up the media is casting judgement and when the story went the other way they didn't even cover it.

The DA should of gotten more jail time than 1 day but at least he was disbarred. The entire case was textbook corruption and the case should be studied by law students. If the students didn't have the money to get good attorneys they would of be railroaded into prison and Fuck the media, especially Espn, I hope they fold under.

this?
>In 1990, accusations of rules violations surfaced in the book Personal Fouls by Peter Golenbock. These accusations centered mostly on high school All-American Chris Washburn, who managed only a 470 out of 1600 on his SAT (with 400 being the starting score).[9] A 1989 NCAA investigation cleared Valvano, but found that players sold shoes and game tickets. As a result, NC State placed its basketball program on probation for two years (the maximum) and was banned from participating in the 1990 NCAA tournament. The state-appointed Poole Commission issued a 32-page report that concluded that there were no major violations of NCAA regulations, and that Valvano and his staff's inadequate oversight of players' academic progress violated "the spirit, not the letter of the law." After this report, Valvano was forced to resign as the school's athletic director in October 1989.
> a school investigation did reveal that Valvano's student athletes did not perform well in the classroom, as only 11 of the players that he coached prior to 1988 had maintained an average of C or better.[10] This was perhaps due to his persistence in recruiting students deemed to be "academic exceptions."

No you couldn't, not with the emotional impact in regards to Buddy Ryan at the start when the defense implores the owner to keep him with a letter and the ending being Ryan, who's basically lost the ability to communicate writing a letter back to the defense thanking them for what they did.

The only black mark was them not talking more in depth about the Super Bowl Shuffle and the irony that it aired when the Bears got the shit kicked out of them by Marino and the Dolphins.

Catching Hell is one of the more interesting episodes because it didn't feature the man who was ground zero for the episode because he just vanished from the public's eye completely even though he could have made millions off his infamy. So they could only go with news reports, anecdotal evidence and people who went through similar experiences. What really hit home was the fact that the one reporter had to stalk him for a day to get a comment even though he felt he should have just been left alone and apologized while approaching Bartman and Bartman just declined to comment.

>>67731011
What's interesting is that I don't ever remember hearing anything on ESPN or the rest of the media when the charges were dropped. They made such a huge deal out of the allegations and I feel like they completely ignored the outcome. Up until I watched the 30 for 30 doc, I assumed the Duke kids had been convicted and were probably sitting in jail somewhere. I had no idea the whole thing was a sham.

Makes you feel so sorry for those kids. And that fucking DA was the ultimate scumbag, piece of shit. How someone who's supposed to be a respected authority figure can go out of his way to put kids that he knows are innocent in jail for the rest of their lives just to better himself, dumbfounds me. Absolutely blows my mind and makes me question the motives of every single politician and employee of the justice system.

I read that most of the kids are doing okay now. The three kids that were accused work for big financial/law firms now. It's just rough that their lives were practically ruined like that. Literally what the fuck are you talking about? You listed both sides of the spectrum of people in the US you fucking idiot, so you pretty much included everyone. The fuck are you talking about with tacos and shit? I don't even watch college sports, I have no idea what you're trying to say

I remember being a kid when the Rockets were going against the Magic and every1 cynical about the Rockets. It was incredible that the Rockets didn't just beat them, but swept them.

I just watched This Magic Moment, and I thought it was a pointless documentary.

Living in Buffalo during their superbowl runs was tragic. Watching Four Falls was like reliving those nightmares all over again.

Nope.

Dude will die in 30 years and there will be a Steve bartman bobble head night and the Cubs will have a memorial patch on their jerseys to go with the other 25 that'll be on there in 30 years time
>>
>call it 30 for 30
>more than 30 episodes and some are 1 hour long

The only chance we have of hearing from Bartman is if the Cubs actually win a pennant. Otherwise I think he stays in hiding until he's on his deathbed or some shit.

The CFB ones are GOAT. Except the Ole Miss and Colorado ones. Those suck.

The original idea was to have 30 and they expanded after their success. The second 30 was for 30 years of ESPN

SMU Pony Excess had the best editing

The one about the running back who left early for the NFL, Best That Never Was hit me in the feels

The U was comedy gold

Other favorites include "Catching Hell", "Two Escobars", FernandoNation

Worst 30 for 30s: Raiders by ice cube and 1 night in Vegas

the nba draft is definitely fixed but you're right it was pretty interesting to see shaq's rise to power and the growing pains of an nba expansion team

True. The U, Pony Excess, and The Best That Never Was were fantastic and easily some of the best. Rand University was shit too and Brian and The Boz was meh. Trojan War, Youngstown Boys, and Roll Tide/War Eagle were okay.

I notice the college sports ones were the best.
