On a bet like this:
>Milan - Rome
>Draw 9-4
What does the last line mean? I'm from Italy and here it's written differently. Could someone explain-me, please?
9-4 = 2.25
>>67696476
it means they are giving 9 to 4 odds on a draw, so if you bet $400 and there's a draw you win $900 or >>67696488 2.25x what you bet
Be glad it's not American odds. That shit is confusing.
>>67696491
Ok, then:
>4:9=1:x
>x=9/4=2.25
It's technically called decimal odds system, right?
>>67696555
the odds what you use to determine the amount you will win relative your bet
bet(odds) = winnings
Here, for example, with £10 you win £2011.10
So, the odd is:
>10:2011.10=1:x => x=201.11x
How is that even possible?
>>67696494
Its the dumbest thing ever, should be completely abandoned desu senpai.
>>67696579
the sum of the events should make 12x, approx. Is there a so-high bonus that make it go up till 201.11 or what?
>>67696579
that's a bet that all 4 of those games will end in a tie, similar to picking the top 3 horses in a race instead of just trying to pick the winner
much longer odds as a result, like 200-1

Small clarification
9/4 means you make 225% profit, but in the decimal system it would be written as 3.25. The decimal system includes your stake in the winnings. That's why you see fractional odds under 1 (eg 7/10, which would mean 1.7 in decimal)
The benefit of decimal system is that you can easily multiply them to calculate accumulators
>>67696610
Thanks for the clarification.
>That's why you see fractional odds under 1 (eg 7/10, which would mean 1.7 in decimal)
Isn't it like this: 7:10=1:x => x=10/7 (profit)
so, in decimal: 10/7+1=2.43x
Where am I wrong?
>>67696639
Nah you switched the 7 and 10 around
More examples
1/2 odds = 0.5 profit +1 (stake)= 1.5 decimal odds
2/3 odds = 0.67 profit +1(stake) = 1.67 decimal
10/3 = 3.33 profit + 1 = 4.33 decimal odds
>>67696639
Oh i see where you're getting confused. When the first number is smaller than the second number it means it's more than 50% likely to happen, so you won't get a good return on your money
For example if Barca were 1/5 odds to win at home vs eibar, in decimal it would be 1.2. So if you bet £10 you get £12 back (ie. Only £2 profit)
Either way the calculation doesn't change. Whenever you see a fractional odd just divide the fraction and add 1

Got it. Thanks, mate! :)
>>67696586
They're not summed, they're multiplied and requires each and every one to hit.

pmsl u lttl rat
tears.
Nibs
holy FUCK pmsl @ these idiots
>>67696476
Yeah they use odds
There is a pool of "13 numbers" that can contribute to a draw
9 of those numbers will result in a draw, 4 of those numbers will result in not a draw. 9-4
9/4 = 2.25, so it's 1/2.25, so 44.44%
They use the same terms in poker, not percentage points, but odds.
I recommend following The Bad Man Tipster on fb
>>67696889
This is incorrect.
9/4 in fractional is 3.25 in decimal which is an implied percentage chance of 30.8%
44.44% as you say would be 5/4 fractional or 2.20 decimal.
