If I had to take either, I'd take PEA. I'd still take either right now. Giroud is fine, but he's never been a proper 'poacher'. If Ozil, Walcott, Ramsey, Wheelchair and Sanchez actually scored lots of goals (Elmemey as well, jesus fuck he's trying too hard, it isn't his job) then Giroud would have 20 goals and 20 assists, Ozil would be at 30 assists.
But, alas. Vardy/PEA + Giroud with Ozil feeding could be great. Simply cause Vardy and Giroud could both fight for crosses (Vardy is small, but is a bulldog) and PEA is fast and could actually finish throughballs.
That has been the problem, nothing else. Ozil had like 139 chances this season and only 19 of them were finished.
I honestly would rather Wenger bought a Right Winger, CB and a young striker (hopefully that Lester scout will find one) than buying a £50m striker who doesn't do shit.
