Nash is probably the most overrated nba player within the past 30 years. Kidd put up better numbers over a longer period of time. Nash was basically just good with the Suns, and their meme offense. He was mediocre in Dallas, and shit as a Laker. Kidd was pretty solid throughout his career. Not to mention, Kidd actually played defense. Something Nash never did.

As a lifelong Suns fan, Nash is a meme. Nash was Curry before Curry. A good player that worked well within a system catered to his strengths, and the NBA shilled him so hard as the next big thing that the casual fanbase fell in love with him. The only difference between Nash and Curry is that Nash got exposed by the prime Spurs and Lakers. Curry has never face that level of competition yet so he hasn't been exposed.

Because people don't get how singularly good Nash was on offense. Yeah he wasn't nearly as good on defense, or rebounding. But he was the main driving force for his team being the best offensive team in the league 9 years in a row (including when he was in Dallas).
