It is baffling that a team with a history of continued success that rivals other successful franchises such as the Lakers or Celtics (and they have been irrelevant for a decade now, while the Spurs is getting stronger). They have never missed the playoffs, nor have they lost by double-digits in the playoffs.
Having cucked LeBeta countless times, the San Antonio Spurs and their fans should have an elevated status on /nba/ general and /sp/ as a whole. Until any other "franchise" accomplishes the feats and consecutive success that the San Antonio Spurs have done, you literally cannot defame or badmouth the most dominant franchise in basketball and sports history.
Don't look now bros, but what Billy Donovan has been doing in this postseason is pretty fucking remarkable. The Kanter and Adams lineup fucked the Spurs in their butts.
Tonight they had everyone guarding the perimeter and switched everything. Adams and Kanter even ended up on Curry. They were giving up driving lines and challenging from behind (sometimes got em and sometimes didn't), but the Warriors are so used to chucking that it just threw them off rhythm.
Make no mistake they will have adjusted for g2 and will take that drive to create, but at that point Donovan will have to make his next play.
Either way, Donovan has been fucking fantastic so far.
