Yeah I think you're right. Fiji already have the best team and he has also just spent nearly two years in America and the power-based fitness required to play NFL is completely different to the endurance fitness you need to play Rugby so he'll probably struggle with the time to adjust.
I think in general most League players would do pretty well at Rugby 7's because the skill set is reasonably similar but it is still a different sport and he would need time to adjust to actually become good. $BW has been preparing for the last 9 months (and he has also played years of Rugby) and even he is okay but not great.
