he was great when he was getting regular playing time early in the season, then van laal benched him for some reason and played carrick + fellaini ahead of him
now he doesn't really do anything in midfield

lovren, lallana, clyne, benteke, schniederlin, lambert, delph, rodwell, bony, shaw, chambers have all been poor to average at best.
