I realise that most people that aren't idiots know that he is very good, but a lot of rugby league fans ARE idiots, and because of this he is seen my the average fan as a bad player.
He has a great short passing game, and an undeniably elite running game, which complements his great support play.
He isn't a complete player, but he poses enough of an attacking threat with his passing and running that he should be considered elite.
Late in 2014 he was so far ahead of every other player it was almost sad. You don't lose talent like that but a lot of people tend to focus on his bad moments under pressure and for some reason he is hated.
