they have some similarities peculiar to both:
- the most obvious one is the eggy ball (the rugby ball is actually much more eggy than the handegg one)
- you score when a player carrying the ball reaches the scoring zone at both ends of the field
- you can also score by kicking the ball between 2 tall posts
- both teams tries to steadily advance into the opponent camp to get a scoring opportunity
- players can tackle each others
- teams are divided between a front line and a back line
